I enjoyed the information in this video, but I enjoyed the enthusiasm, and the knowledge and the relationship the speaker has with the plants. He knows each of these plants well. There isn’t much I enjoy more than seeing people geek out on plants.

Can a coconut be grown in Flagler county areas?
@davidcasella2934

A Coconut Palm (Cocos nucifera) is a tropical palm, where as minimum temperatures need to be at or above 30 degrees, for the palm to survive! The palm may survive in Flagler County, the in a location that has an extreme Microclimate. A Microclimate created by the planting site being in close proximity of a body of water (Ocean, Lake, River) or under a protective canopy of Hardwood Trees, which will insulate the palm, also they will prevent nearly all Frost formation. Another tip would be to plant the Coconut Palm near a structure, such as a building, house, fence for deterrence of Winter North & Northwest winds!

You need to learn geography - Argentina, Paraguay, are in the South East of South America. Africa us a continent not a country. And South America’s climate is 4 seasons, you will find snow in many parts of South America from the North to Southern most Patagonia! The Canary Islands climate is very West African, very hot and dry, far from Mediterranean.
