Adam is accustomed to Maynard's way of handling a song (vocally). You can tell after the climax at 4:18 where things kind of 'fell off' 44 a little, Adam just hit that awesome riff & then was expected to "take it away" with a solo or something. Only thing, is, this is usually where Maynard continues on with the vocals (while Jones plays a cool riff) & then Adam slowly fades out; then, if it's in the song, Adam will slowly come into a solo on his own time. From 4:30 to about 4:35 was just a miscommunication being since they're not regular band members. With some jam sessions, I'm sure they'd be 'too cool' on a track. Edit: Time stamps

Yep, a little off key there. Off key does not mean off tempo or off rythm. It's his choice of notes that's a little off sounding in that particular section. Other than that, awesome playing! :)
