Funny thing about sonic cd: Every initials of a zone is the same letter doubled. For example Palmtree Panic is PP, Collision Chaos is CC, Tidal Tempest is TT, wacky workbench WW, Stardust Speedway SS and Metallic Madness MM. I must be the only one who finds the Past themes to be the best in the game. Their is something so atmospheric about them, like finding a lost ancient place nobody had ever been before. And in all that vastness of time, Sonic just comes in and is present for about a minute in it. It was like a sense of discovery for me everytime i traveled there. Getting there and making a Good Future is the highlight of the game for me.
