@jacklinton48854 жыл бұрын
They do both, a lot. More in rap music to be honest, as the style lends itself to that sort of message easier, and stuff like punk is basically an entire genre dedicated to political messages, but it happens across the genres. E.g. Marina - To Be Human, Eminem - Darkness, Dave - Black, The Correspondents - Boss, Hozier - Take Me To Church, About half of Rens music, Tim Minchin - Not Perfect, The Cat Empire - Chariot, Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks, Hollywood Undead - Bullet, Black Pumas - Colors. Even stuff like Lorde - Royals, which talks about the celebrity lifestyle, but in a critical way. And I largely listen to the flashier sort of music, so I'm probably missing out on tonnes of deeper stuff.

I have been lucky enough to see Paloma 3 times in concert (twice last year) and she is unbelievable - if you think her album voice is great, take the chance to see her live - her shows are brilliant (and great fun - she really engages with the audience). I am yet to hear Paloma's best song - every time you think you've found it (Just Be, Changing, New York, Upside Down, Picking Up The Pieces) another one comes along which just makes the hair on your arms stand up more, your breath draw in more sharply and your heart meltdown even more. She is unique, brilliant, beautiful and compelling. I don't care whether she's as famous / recognised - she's my "go-to" singer who gives me the song to suit my mood, making me smile, laugh, tear my heart to pieces in pain - and I love coming back every time for more - keep it coming Paloma - YOU are the singer that sings THE song.

Hope is the last thing mankind has. Bullies only stir that fact up moreover, through kindness and actions of others. So now there are too many bullies, but they are pushing every soul, and now they are gunning for those who wish to give that helping hand. With this enormous talent, why is she not as big as Adele or Sia? I searched for her interview videos, she’s funny too.

She's talented in many genres. And she does have a great sense of humor.

superb. exquisite music, brilliant voice, lyrics which makes me think. a lot of artists forget what distinguishes pop-culutre & entertaiment from art. the role of the artist is to force the receipient to interpret, to stop for a moment from the rush of this world and reflect on our lives.This song does the job. this is the message for humankind. Thank You all who participated in the creation of this piece of art in reminding us all about what is important in life.
