I've always loved this song, but never felt every word until I recently had a 30 minute love affair myself. Although the circumstances were different, it was perfect, beautiful, and I too was promised there would be future encounters, but I was let down like Paloma was. This song perfectly describes a moment in my youth at a Halloween party when I met a guy and we hit it off right away. We were each there with our own clique of friends and neither of us drove. We spent like an hour just talking about anything and everything, shared one slow dance and my girls pulled me into one of those restroom trips we women do. When I came back out, he was gone and my heart just sank. Paloma is right though, for that hour it was the perfect relationship because we hadn't had time to mess it up.

This is probably one of my most favourite songs of hers. Paloma Faith is just awesome, she's in a league of her own. She puts so many other female artists to shame, there's something special not to mention unique that makes her in legend in her own right - I think "stellar" is the word! Infact, it has to be said that she is one of the best singers to have ever graced planet earth. I'm 50 and was raised to the sound of Karen Carpenter and think if she were still alive, she would have loved her too. I love the way Paloma has such a quirky style and the way she juggles performing and motherhood, it's amazing! They got nothing on you Paloma and dare anyone try to imitate you......

Unbelievable , this song has such a captivating plot, surreal visuals and touching story in 4 minutes, it's better than a 2 hour movie worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
