I played against Palpatine last night. He changes the way you play when you think about damage on your characters. I put a resilient on Kanan and then he took my Kanan a couple turns later. It is absolutely bonkers sometimes. Decks that make you think are good to have around.

I really want to make a palp deck and this reinforces that, for me. I do wonder how well it would do against the rampant sabine decks tho. Regardless it looks super rewarding to play.

at 26 13 why not use palp on superlaser to go to 6 resources so shorettrooper is 4/3 and u can trade with 3/3 sentinel after? u do 1 dmg to boba and have exactly same board?

Yeah Brian should’ve done this, would’ve let him steal Boba without sacking his Guard later. Likely just tunneled and didn’t think about +2 on trooper in that moment. First time playing Palp so was just trying to feel it out!

They were from SurlyGoodDesigns on etsy but currently out of stock. They made them for Destiny and haven't restocked since the game went away.

Appreciate the content but the video is lacking several important things from a technical standpoint: 1) Decklists. Either a quick summary at the beginning of each deck that you can film before/after would do wonders for keeping the audience informed. At the VERY least, links to the decklists in the description. 2) Music. Or more conversation. There are several points where there are long silences that seem to drag on. If there was more banter between you guys, it'd be fine but there are way too many periods of complete silence. To be blunt, the video is quite boring even when things are going on. There's tons of royalty free music available online these days. 3) Clear play-by-play. Its very hard to track what's going on sometimes. Its as simple as calling out your cards when you play them. If its just two friends playing then its not a big deal since I could just reach across the table and read the card but you've got an audience trying to keep up as you play. You can even show an image of the card on screen (in the corner over the facecam of the player that played it maybe) if you want to go the extra mile. 4) Equalize your audio on the microphones. I can hear the background noise hiss constantly during the silence and you guys are barely audible. The sound of cards being flicked and tokens being put on the table are louder than your voices regularly. I think if you make even a few of those simple changes, the videos will greatly improve in quality. I look forward to seeing an improved product down the line.
