That's not Android 12. It's actually Android 7 Nougat It cannot be updated since April 2017 and if someone knows how to install an update ROM because they no longer serve some applications giving error.

Bought this similar TV stick and the wifi is slow! Half of what I'm getting g on my mobile. Cannot stream 1440p youtube video without dropping half of the frames and could not get into developer mode to make it faster. Any ideas?

Try unplugging the tv and your adapter(I dont know the name)if that doesn't work try pressing the home button...
