i live in spain just got the xiaomi tv stick 4k find it works better than 3 gen amazon firestick but not as good as my 4k amazon firestick max but the price over here is 39 euros for the xiaom tv stick 4k is good what do you think

The operating system on the Xiomi looks just like the Onn from Walmart and the Nvidia shield devices. All streaming devices here are horrible for 720p content on 4k tvs, is it the same in the UK?

I'm still using the original 1 from like 2015. Running android 8 super fast still. I will not update it cause then u will face issues as I've seen from others. Older is better in this case. Paid 30 on eBay

I have this stick in Cyprus running behind the vpn that came with it (HOLA) and everything works fine including BBC Iplayer and ITV hub, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Ebay uk for 73 quid. Cyprus shop for 69 Euros.

Applications can be installed via USB, of course with a USB hub. Mi stick can play movies from ext disk formatted in exfat even in 2 tb size. There aren't as many obstacles as there are on the Fire tv stick

i have 2 mi stick 4k its better than firetv stick for me. There are no annoying commercials, it plays even 2 tb size exfat formatted disks via the usb hub, it has dolby vision atmos, AV1 codec, it will be updated in the future, good wifi... The price is not brilliant at the moment, you have to wait a day or two for it to drop back to 60 euros with some kind of coupon. At banggood, coupons make things much cheaper. Kodi works perfectly and streams movies on the home network. Even the mandatory Google login is not necessary.
