I'd add that it's easier to get the Fisherman's Point teleport before you build your first base. As you're traveling along the beach, you can build a base to use as a respawn point. As you get further along, you can open your map, disassemble your previous base using the V key, then rebuild it further along for a new checkpoint. Really helpful in case the mobs kill you so you don't have to run the whole way from the initial teleport.

Update: 1. To access all respawn locations, turn on multiplayer. Offline will not work. This does not mean you have to play with someone, just that multiplayer is on even if you are playing solo. 2. The second black marketeer location does not work anymore. The hanging trap will not place. Instead, use the first one. 3. To respawn the black marketeer, go back to the main menu and turn off multiplayer. Then, every time you kill the black marketeer, go back to the main menu to refresh the game and get him to spawn again. (Remember, you have to hit him a few times to get the contribution for the gold.)

For the black marketeer to respawn you can just go back 250/300m from him and go back. If your loadind times are not great, that will be better. Just put a marker on the map while you are near him and travel away until the marker desappear in tha compass than go back. He should respawn.

I got a random Huge Dragon Egg on my first blind playthrough, and got the Jormuntide Ignis as basically my starting Kindling Pal, and it ruined every subsequent playthrough for me, lol. This is good advice to grab it early on.

What I do is buy a bunch of mega spheres then catch all 3 merchants. Just keep throwing spheres and rolling around until you get them. Then you will have all 3 merchants to use at your base.

I was out traveling to different mining bases recently and had a wandering trader visit, dude has the perfect sales INCLUDING Pal Fluid (water pal drop) which is kind of rare for material merchants to carry, save for a few locations... so I nabbed him up for later. Now with a Pal Trader, and 2 Materials Traders I have access to damn near everything I'd want to buy from traders, so no more traveling for merchants... xD

Great showcase, though I wonder if you pursued too many objectives early on in the process. You could skip the whole base + Vixy trick early on and use the palbox to get to the fisherman's village right away. Alternatively you could lean into the vixy and just power level to 15 and get a nightwing, then fly over the same path without the headache. Likewise, if you wanted to skip getting the Qivern you could Anubis + Vanywrm = Faleris + Lyleen = Jorm. With the recent breeding addition a Jorm + blazehowl = Jorm Ignis so its a lot easier than hunting for the egg. You could go direct with Azurobe + Eikthydeer = Blazehowl, or if you want to pick up the best cooling pal in the process you could go Relax + Tanzee = Foxicle + Vanwyrm = *Van cryst* + Chillet = Blazehowl. dealers choice. A lot of folks worry about breeding with Relax as the Glutton trait gets passed on however if you take a quick detour and breed 2x Relax together its about a 50/50 that you will get one without glutton. It might be worth investing ~3 cakes at the start of the process to save the food cost down the line.

This is the best guide I've found so far. Couple notes. 1. The sand by fisherman's point isn't hot. Your not stuck in the water. 2. Havnt found the dragon egg yet but hatched multiple blazehouls + jormuntide gets you ignis. 3. Placing multiple camp fires speeds things up. Thanks again bros!

Honestly they shouldn't have patched it, maybe just nerf it to drop a special item or something instead of the gold directly. That you need to sell to a specific merchant who you could catch, like that one unique doctor. Where it would sell for the same, OR perhaps for more due to it being a NPC specific trade.

@@acefenyx2745 You need to Respawn at a separate base or Fast Travel beacon, and then fast travel to the one you've setup next to the Marketeer. If you just respawn directly at the base it doesn't reload the area, and so he doesn't respawn.

For anyone having issues with the black marketeer not appearing outside the hillside cavern close to the Penking boss, exiting to the title screen and loading back into the save worked on PC. Then after burning him, run south a little past the cavern and exit to title screen again. he should be back up when you load back in. The BMs inside camps dont seem to work after the last patch since you can no longer build near them, but this guy at the hillside cavern doesnt have a camp and still worked for me on PC. Hope this helps someone. Edit: This didn't work 100% of my reloads. A few times I had to exit and reload a second time for him to respawn. May have just been standing too close. IDK.

The wild eggs tip is really good, you can also get alpha pals from them. I got Penking and Bushi from eggs really early (before being able to fight them), just by picking every egg I could find and hatching them in the incubator Also, caves are really good if you need a lot of paldium fragments, there are big nodes with around 3~4x more paldium than the small nodes, you can easily get 60~100 paldium fragments in a single cave. There's also (usually) nice loot in caves

The so far “guaranteed” method for the first marketeer that has worked for me(PC) is 1. respawning 2. picking a point that’s decently far and has a close by fast travel(forgotten island is what I use) 3. Going to title screen and loading back in 4. Fast travel back to base and repeat. Also you don’t have to constantly hit him either a few will count as your kill, but it will slow down the process but not by a significant margin

I just turned the EXP rate in the world settings to maximum, since I didn’t want to deal with the early game grind. I hate having to walk everywhere, so I speed ran the game until I unlocked my nitewing saddle so that I can fly. After I hit level 16, I immediately flew to Fisherman’s Point to get the supplies mentioned in the video. Then I started farming the black marketeer for gold.

I usually just use Direhowl for that. I use Direhowl, and with the update, I use Dazemu over Vanwyrm most times. Only resorting to flying mounts when I unlock Beakon. By that point, I'm exploring volcanos, deserts, and tundras. But like...you'll catch me exploring Sakurajima at level 1 for those Legendary spheres and getting myself nearly killed by Croajiros 😂

Tried out this strat from start to finish and its insane how efficient this is. I made some changes to it: i added a direhowl to the getting 3 vixys, prioritized its saddle, i ran 5 cattivas when i started out, the extra are really helpful for base building and capacity, dont underestimate your need to hold more, i used direhowl to make my way around a lot espacially for combat when powerleveling, i decided to power level till i ran out of spheres, once i started to power level i replaced my vixys with beegarde, chikipi, and a mozzarina, i shouldnt have bought relaxaurus from the merchant since it was too expensive but i did add beegarde to the purchase since getting them is annoying. I also made a route when starting out to grab chests and scavenge any resources on the ground, skipping my need to mine stone and trees; only mining when it came to base building i managed to scrounge up enough resorces for lots of spheres arrows and the basic tools/weapons, i went to different merchants to get the 3 pals since lunaris wouldnt spawn at the one i was grinding money at, i stopped at 300k gold it took me 23 attempts i had to later comeback for more since i needed some for cake ingredients. The only thing i didnt get to was finding Jormuntide Ignis and the base part but i was lvl 36, i had my cake ingredients ready and lots and lots of stuff researched.

The ancient technology respawn has been patched. The first black market, in order to respawn, turn off multiplayer and after killed it, go back to base by manual or respawn and return to main title. The black marketeer in cave can still use traps to kill him, I'm not sure why some people said not working.

Hey they updated Jormintide Ignis's breeding chart you can now get him by breeding a Jormintide and a Blazehowl. And getting a Blazehowl is super easy to just breed the Celeray with the Anubis you breed. Or if you're like me and don't want glutton from Relaxaurus you can also breed the Jormintide with a Rushoar. Because the spawn chance for the Huge Dragon Egg is 0.3% I know this because I spent a day flying around on Vanwyrm looking for the egg and never found it, so I looked it up, just to end up catching and breeding a Blazehowl. Skip the egg step if you're unlucky like me you'll waste a ton of time.

I found with mulitplayer on the Black Market guy respawns after you kill him if you move from base to base or fast track somewhere. I also found out that you can catch him if you do the trap and campfire way. Just wait until his health is lower, his pal doesn't show up and he only brings out his guns if you don't keep throwing red pal balls at him. I have him on one of my main bases and he's the only one working on the research facility which I don't get. Haven't tried the same way with the other 2 traders yet.

For all we know they might even help modders further add content after full release. Imagine... Modders doing things to Palworld like they do to Fallout games.. Just a head's up for the Gold Farm, in the intervening months PocketPair seems to have updated all of the cave systems to count as Specialty/Boss Zones, so you can't build in them anymore. The other two in the video are fully free to kill at your leisure though, so just use one of those.

Clever strat, but it's not as effective as you think. If you rush it to your base location (the one you picked is great but not required now you can just build ore station). Build Vixy farm there and just catch all PALs around you in the time you have gotten the money/gun/ammo you would most likely be around lvl20-30 looking for Jourmuntide Ignis egg. Especially that trek to Fisherman Vilage on foot without mount is just an overkill. You can just grab it when you get a fly mount and farm the gold for a gun if you really feel you need it.

i wanted to say , that there is one thing to keep in mind. There are Vanwyrms a little to the north west on the landway to were the Boss Bushi is starting from the little village. these Birds spawn at L10-12 and are way better then nightwing plus they are the parent animal with anubis to the 2nd best bird in the game , because it is the 2nd fastest and it has melting 3 + transport 3. i would not waste any resources into nitewing , it realy sucks xD

Playing a bit here and there for a while I recommend also getting a Nitewing as soon as possible. Not so much for riding though they are really strong starting combat pals. They have really strong moves and are agile. If not at least being good from beginning to mid game they might even be somewhat viable to end game. Just make sure you are doing your share of the work. Maybe having some Daedreams following you around to add dps to you as well. In the beginning you can't get enough dps it seems like. Just thought I would offer something a little less knowledge dependent and something everyone can aim for early on. There are also some that just won't vibe well with this video because of the mechanic exploiting and going against the "intended" way of playing.

For me I’m at player 1. I hung and killed the guy. When time to respawn he did not show. I exited and closed twice. What had to do after killing the guy. Dismantled everything. Return to base. Fast travel away from base. (I fast traveled to Eastern Wild Island) Exit. Switch from online to offline. Then I switch it back to online (playing with another player) Fast travel back home. Then went back to the guy and he will respawn.

Great video, thank you, only thing for me as Console player not sure if anyone else experiences this but doing the trap/campfire trick on the merchants only works for me at the first player one location, the second one in the cave it doesn’t let me build anywhere there maybe because of all the structures around him? but i can only hang them up in the open area.
