I’m glad I wasn’t the only one experiencing these bugs. I was getting so frustrated when i was fighting a boss right in front of me, pulled out my pal, just for them to immediately ditch me to fight some random tarantriss 3 miles away

What annoys me the most recently is when I aggro a mob 100 meters ago and stop to fight someone, my pal would run all the way back to the 1st one that's been aggroed instead of fighting the one I am.

You do realize you can make them focus the same target as you, and then all you have to do is 1 damage to the mob you want the pal to focus haha. These are non-issues

The hole on frostallion's tail was when you put the winter skin on the horse and if you summon it you can see into the model through the tail. It literally gave frostallion a butthole lol It was very obvious to find for those of us who use the skin lol

I hope in the future they increase the drop rate of Work Technique Applied books, or make them buyable from the Dog Coin merchant, I prefer having the smaller cuter Pals working at my base, but most of them have low Work Suitability levels, I'd like to be able to raise those levels so I can continue to use the Pals I want to use in my bases.

I want an npc like dr brawn that can spawn and sell a book once per day for like 200k gold. Hard to min max for low levels but easier access for higher levels.

In the small settlement where the bounty exchange npc you can get the technology book from them with the bounty tokens

@ We are talking about the work suitability books that give a pal +1 to the books skill so from level 4 fire to level 5 for example. Tech tokens are pretty easy to acquire so not much difficulty there.

They need to make a special cocktail with the mushrooms that shrinks your Pals down to a normal size to make them fit better in base but it lowers like base stats a little, kind of like the mini-mushroom from Mario bros. But a cocktail you can make at like advanced medical station

The save bug was so bad on xbox that i lost an entire DAY of progress. It also reset my map, and all the custom names i gave my pals. I actually was gonna completely give up but now im happy to see its fixed

It was I lost so many saves because of that back save nonsense that I almost put the game down. I was 7 hours in and didn’t realize the game hadn’t auto saved in a while and clean lost everything. It broke me on the inside

I had a world where it always spawned me under my base, first time it happened I immediately quit and then turned off all drop on death effects. It must have been maddening to anyone playing permadeath mode.

The worst issues are enemies spawning in the base. Another significant problem is the pal pathing; pals teleport and get stuck on roofs and ledges, preventing them from completing tasks until moved. I constantly have to check on my pals to ensure none are teleported to inaccessible locations. (PS5)

Pathing is still really frustrating to work around, I often have to pick up my pals and chuck them at what I want them to do because they get "cancelled fixed assignment" so often saying they can't reach stuff, even just randomly for things they've been fine reaching in the past.

The aiming thing was causing a bug where the pal would just take off in one direction and NEVER stop when you aimed in their general direction. I guess stopping them from moving is a band aid fix while they look into it.

Okay I dont know if anyone else encountered this, but I kept having pals that I had put back into the box still be wandering around my base. They didnt work, but they would get in the way of my other working pals. So in one base I have 7 orserks glitched out around my palbox when I have none deployed to the base.

i checked if the bug spot that is good to use against xenolord still works, only checked if you can get into the spot and shoot out of it not the raid. you can still enter behind the rock and shoot through it so i feel the exploit for that still would work

EVERY TIME I logged in for the past week or so, Nemo would be under map, under the base and everything. I would have to try and find my way to a spot where I could throw out my shadowbeak so he would land OUTSIDE of the terrain and he could pull me out of the under-the-terrain hole I had gotten myself stuck in. My Xenoguard and Shadowbeak truly have been pulling me out of the terrain all week ;_; I'm ever so grateful for their existence and this bug fix. Holy cannoli!

I noticed a bug that has yet to be patched. The campfire will lose it's lighting ability when you load up a game save. You would need to break it up and rebuild it in order to reactivate its glow. I would also like to see a new feature added to world settings. There was a mod that stopped working after the Fey update that allowed all pals to be aggressive toward the player. Now, the game would crash when the world map was pulled up when using the mod. I think that it would be nice to see a pal behavior setting. It wouldn't affect human npcs or bosses, though. They would be as follows: 1. Full aggressive --- Attacks humans and each other. Great for watching epic battles when combined with pal appearance rate maxed out. 2. Aggressive towards humans --- Will attack players and human npcs. 3. Passive --- Won't attack unless attacked first. 4. Cowardly --- Will run from player. Makes it hard to catch them like if they were Liffmunks. 5. Full Cowards --- Will run from player and each other. Makes their fleeing direction even more confusing. 6. Default --- Behaves as they normally do in game.

Yay for the fix to the spawning under the base! 🥳 It was really annoying because for some reason the collision on the terrain is two-way, so you were literally stuck under there even with a flying pal. Only option was to let yourself drown and respawn. 😱

If you used a grapple, or climbed up a rock from underneath and started to climb on the ground from underneath, it would clip you back to the surface, but if you dont have either yeah, probably stuck

I think pals not moving out of the way of the crosshair means you don’t unintentionally interrupt their attacks or not allow them to get close enough to an enemy to use certain attacks. It probably improves their combat effectiveness somewhat. It also seems like you can now shoot through your own pals most of the time. It’s not 100% consistent, but it seems to be something they are working on and it definitely wasn’t like that when the game first became available.

The moving out of the way change may be intended to prevent the pals from prioritizing avoiding combat by moving away. Like if a pal stops attacking because you aim at a boss then you can lose a good bit of dps. My best guess tho

Yesterday i did my first oil rig (bad timing i guess) And went with 1 jetragon and 4 gobfins And 4 legendary rocket launchers, using all 4 it was roughly 150k dmg Then jump off, get away, reload, repeat Took forever but a win is a win

On the pal moving out of the way. That's probably because the pal had a tendency to move when you aimed at his general direction, that had pretty much a 50/50 chance of him really out of the way or moving again in front of you. For example if I move a little to the left to line the shots, I am still aiming at his general direction, which would make him move again, which could put him again in front of me.

They finally fixed the crashes that I've been experiencing every time I play. Palworld would just eat up CPU usage. And the thing where you open your world and you fall under the terrain. But I think they haven't fixed where alpha pals or sootseer can't even enter the ranch when there is a roof above even when it's two walls above.

My PC is a several year old potato that my friend gave me when he got a new one... And that was years ago now too. I have no problem aggroing everything on the oil rigs and having them and their pals all shooting at me while I run around. There is no noticable stutter.

Literally no problem with running the oil rig on PC with many NPCs. Before the patch, when aiming down the sights of a weapon, the players Pal that had been called out would move out of the way.

@@MSenseiHD Hey man, current setup is AMD cpu rayzen 7 7800X3D (make sure if you go amd it is x3d as that is their gaming cpu) graphics card is a water cooled Nvidia RTX 3080. I have 64 gig of ram and a chill motherboard. I have been playing on max settings since launch. I have to say that water cooled components seem to run better and are easier on the maintainence. Operating system is windows 10 still, because I don't trust what Microsoft is doing with Windows 11.

they need to fix the work speed on both the pal and character to me more faster when working on the oil rigs or palsteels. Its insane how much time it is to just make one palsteel or even to get the oil rigs going. I just recently came back to the game so I can't speak on the lv60 Oil rig as I'm still preparing for my first raid. The 30, and 55 oil rigs seem to be fine on my laptop, which has a 3070 with 8gb of vram, I had a graphics related crash recently but it wasn't at an Oil rig.

You should ditch the jetragon for another gobfin. Use the grapple gun, anti grav belt and triple and double jump boots, switch to 3 damage damage pendants (the multi climate shirt is my perm 4th slot) grapple, cancel at last second, get a few jumps and then galeclaw to the rig, switch to pendants

I have a 3080 Ti with a Ryzen 7 5700G and 64GB of RAM. Literally strong enough to handle any game in the steam library. The game is just a hair under a year old in early access. My GPU never goes above a certain clock speed only in this game. It’s a great game, just HORRIBLY unoptimized.
