Palworld: Fresh Lv 60 Raiding Guide - Part 5: Xenolord | No Breeding or Grinding

This video shows the least amount of setup required for Xenolord as a fresh Lv 60. White gear and fresh caught pals only.
Food Buffs used: Mammorest Curry for attackers, Carbonara for Party pals.
Healing meds used on player and party pals, but not on base pals.
Research is maxed.

With two blue plasma cannons and 4 max condensed gobfin and food buffs and one blue attack accessory and one max condensed frostallion (zero base pals), you can solo basic Xenolord by flying outside the base radius to the point where you drop aggro from Xenolord and far enough to not pull spawn aggro, then fly up high enough to be equal to the height of where Xenolord flies up to barrage your base center, and just use two blue plasma cannon to quickly blast 4 shots total at Xenolord crit spot (his head), and then use Xenolord descent and re-ascent animation to reload both plasma cannons and then repeat blast 4 shots from two different plasma cannons at his head again and rinse and repeat this the entire raid and you will kill him before time runs out. Zero base pals, zero pal ability casts. Xenolord will just focus your base center and repeat his teleport attack on the base center and the minion spawns will literally stand still and do nothing the entire time. I've literally done this while running an expedition at the raid base on the side of the base because Xenolord just focused my base center and the minion spawns stand still and don't attack anything so the expedition center is out of the blast radius and doesn't die and there's enough time to dual plasma cannon Xenolord to death with at least blue rarity plasma cannon. This is probably the easiest and most time efficient method to solo Xenolord with minimal grinding and effort. I don't know if it's possible with grey rarity plasma cannon but it's maybe possible??? You would have to try it to find out though. But I've done this method many times on Xenolord myself now successfully. You take no damage and your base center easily survives Xenolord spamming it

while this is a good method i think i remember palprof mentioning he considers it to be a 'cheese' strategy and even when fighting the boss normally he would try avoid getting it to attack the palbox. but if you dont care about the simplicity of it or if you consider it to not be cheese since it is more of a race between who dies first (the palbox or xenolord) it is a very good strategy, interesting to know its possible with only blue schematics.

@A_Zippy it's 100% a cheese strat but the pal box doesn't even get close to dying, it doesn't even take a quarter of its hp by the time you kill Xenolord. And if you do mess up the DPS and run out of time, still barely tickles the palbox

@A_Zippy you need two of them and you need to be using all 4 shots each time it's in the air, and then reload while it's going down and coming back up, but it's definitely doable for sure. The dps on the plasma cannon when skipping post reload animations is way higher than the rockets and multi missiles because the unskippable part of its reload animation is so short compared to the rocket launcher despite having almost as much power and Xenolord puts his head back in a perfect sniping position when he's unleashing the ranged barrage part of his assault on your palbox so it's 4 quick crit hits then reloading while using swaps to skip the post reload animations on both guns while he's descending and reascending. You might test it with green and grey rarity though. I don't know if they would do the trick but if they do work, then that would allow a lot more people the ability to get access to Xenolord if they don't mind cheesing. Another thing you can do is setup 15 base pals while doing this cheese strat and when they die, just let them stay dead and keep doing the cheese strat, that way they can do SOME damage before they die, thus helping give you more leeway if you are struggling with time. But I was able to do this with blue plasma cannon and gobfin/frostallion/food buffs within the 10 minutes time limit with time to spare (I don't remember how much time I had extra, since it's been over a week since I last did this and I've forgotten that part) but I was able to do this several times in a row while repairing my palbox between runs without any base pals without failing or giving it 100% of my attention, I was legit watching anime in the background (dubbed so I was listening, not watching) but my attention didn't need to be 100% on the fight, to give you an idea of how much I wasn't really afraid of the clock. I want to say it was between 0 and 2 minutes left but not close enough to zero to be stressed about time but I want to say it was closer to 2 minutes left??? But I honestly can't remember so don't quote me on that time, I could be getting my times with another raid mixed up

@ definitely doable with grey gear from what youve told me. compared to palprofs strat it is a lot more farming since you need all the gobfins and frostalion but the actual fight would be a lot easier. i guess choosing between them is just if you want to spend more effort in the fight or if you want to spend more effort preparing. i personally am going into the deep end and getting myself a maxed out jignis army that i'll arm with a bunch of skill fruits

Not sure if you have done a video on this already, but I came back for feybreak, and having issues with tech points, is there a faster way to get them than bounty tokens and dungeons? Not been able to get a lot of the weapons and saddles and such yet

Best way is astral mountain dungeons, highest drop rate for the books that give 3 points.

Butcher anubis with the pal disassembly conveyor. Not only will they periodically give you books worth 2, but they will also be a great supply of pal souls you will need for endgame.

Instead of feeding 5 Pizza to refill SAN, you could instead feed 1-2 Cakes since they give 82 SAN per Cale.

Cake is great for rescue pals since it restores so much hunger and 82 san. It's what I use to reset all of the pals back to being ready to fight when I want to do back to back bosses

If you had to pick 1 raid army for all bosses would you go for jignis, paladius, a mix of both, or either with rescue pals? I was also wondering about the viability of off meta pals in raids like reptyro, xenogard, or any other pals that have niche uses. Thank you for all your content, you are extremely helpful.

i know ur asking palprof but ill let you know what i think he'll say. in terms of the minimal setup with fresh caught pals, i believe that paladius would be overall better vs all bosses if you only want to catch 1 type of pal, however he is quite weak to libero + it takes a fair bit of effort to catch 15-30 of them since they are a boss. if you want to use the rescue pal strategy then 15 of them would probably work, a blazemut from the overworld boss would be pretty decent or just a jetragon. i purely recommend paladius because it naturally has access to holy burst and absolute frost, which are super good skills vs large targets, whereas while jignis is overall better, the skills you want to run are a bit more specific and getting holy burst onto them is a grind. I will add that if you are willing to grind for some skill fruits, like lightning streak (which can be gotten from any tree in lower level grass island trees), air blade (sakuragima trees), and then getting holy burst mutated from air blade or going for beam slicer (feybreak trees)/some other good skill jignis will be your go to. his typing is a perfect vs most raid bosses letting him resist a lot of attacks and he has some good stats as well. If you want minimal effort and dont want to do any skill fruits or anything, i would say just put a bit more effort in and get a 15-30 squad of both jignis and paladius. i think this series really focuses on the freshly caught pals part, which means pals with good skills and who spawn at high level will take priority over other pals who could be good. xenogard is very annoying to get a raid army for since they only spawn with meteorites which will take a lot of time and effort, and reptyro is caught at around level 30-40 at the volcano unless he spawns somewhere in feybreak? not sure but from my understanding he will be too low level. pal prof could lend some insight because im and definitely not as knowledgeable but this is my answer as a student who was been studying his vids

@ Thanks for the reply. I don’t plan on using freshly caught pals so leveling them up isn’t an issue to me, so a reptyro army is still up for grabs if it can take on xenolord ultra haha. The same applies to xenogard, if he able to deal with all raids I don’t mind making an army with him. My main is concern is that making multiple armies fine tuned per boss isn’t as appealing to me when I could use only one army regardless of the pal and even if the fights are a bit longer and harder. I’m more willing to go all in on one army than go half in on two separate ones if that makes sense. Thanks again. I think I’ll lean towards paladius as I think libero is the easiest of the raid bosses and I’d hate to have every jignis ohko’d by a holy burst.

Finally beat a Blaz Ryu last night, and am learning between Blaz, Xeno, and Bella, these bosses really like taking you and your team our with burn damage. Kinda hoping the next boss doesn't have a burn inducing attack... or poison...

Is it worth building walls or any kind of base design to help with raids? Surely in a base builder game there could be a way. Also is it not worth putting out the fires on the beds? It comes up with beds not working if they're on fire.

As far as I've tried it's just better to find a flat surface like the beach shown in this vid or the cove on northwest Feybreak. These boss pals will rip structures to shreds if given the chance. I have seen people use rocket setups, but haven't tried it myself because it's kinda expensive.

Pal's will bring a downed pal to a bed to revive it. He used a Jetdragon, likely because of how fast it moves, and used a work station to set it not to engage in combat, so all it did was move downed pals to beds, reviving them to continue the fight, without the dragon being distracted by fighting. You can also do this if you have a downed Pal in your party instead of waiting 10mins in the palbox. Just set your downed pal in the base and one of the Pals will bring it to a bed, reviving it quickly. I use this all the time to get up party pals quickly instead of waiting 10mins.

There’s an option for it on the soul menu at the statue. it costs a pretty penny though. Upwards of 3-400k on a higher end pal.

10 bases, 50 base pals. The rest is default on "normal". When doing these videos I stick to 15 base pal armies so people on servers get a general idea of the strength needed.

A day too late. I've already given up on Palworld after xenolord wiped out my raid squad of absolute frost, triple perfect ivs with perfect trait jignes, each of whom are level 60, fully condensed, fully souled up. This boss is rediculous and I hate him. Wish I'd seen this video two days ago.
