ok update: I was able to get the butcher to not kill him, but he doesnt drop anything at all. And yes its the alpha version from the map. I am running patch 1.1.4. Also if you are not standing on the absolute lowest spot on the map as soon as you mount you fall thru the ground too. I am able to remount him and reset him in my palbox just like you said but he isnt dropping a single thing. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe you could give me advice on what I'm doing wrong I am able to butcher before and then ride after second swing however the pal just glitches out and no items are dropped it shows him as blurred still I can recall ride Etc however no items are dropped however many times I do it

After you have done the butcher glitch, you don't need to go all the way to the palbox to put it back in. You can just go to the party, drop it and pick it back up

You need to wait a little longer to mount. Mount at the end of the 2nd butchering sound not as soon as you hear it. Hope it helps

@@ryanmolloy5421 yea I believe you bro lol by 40 times I meant 40 rounds of capturing and butchering Blazeamut, Jetragon, Zuzaku, Paladius, Necromus, and Frostalion lmao so really I had to butcher atleast 200 pals before I got my first legendary schematic. And same I thought my game was bugged or glitched because I saw multiple videos supposedly saying they are more likely to drop by butchering pals.

For anyone playing on dedicated servers, I recommend butchering at a high ground. The items will float high up in the air if you didn’t get all the items after mounting

This method is really hard to do on a laggy server, like inconsistent ping server ones. It'll take time to "ride" the butchered pals and you'll miss the timing a lot because of the lags. On solo though, really easy to do. Thanks for the guide man!

After going over the glitch a bunch of times figured out a few things. It isn’t necessary to be at a low level of the map, this just makes it so the pal won’t continue to fall through the map. If your fast enough, it doesn’t matter. When you butcher, wait for the blurr to go away, then hold the mount button immediately. After you dismount, quickly try to butcher again. If the only option allowed is to pet the pal, then drop the pal from your party, then pick them back up and restart the process. Good luck.

Here's what I don't understand I've done it with multiple Pals multiple times cannot get it to work as soon as I mount the pal no items drop and it continues to stay blurred can still use pal but cannot get items

You dont have to put it back to its pal sphere. After getting the mats you can proceed to butchering it directly

UPDATE IT DOES WORK as soon as the blurr disapears is the sweat spot ))))))doesnt work on pc game pass version ..you get on then fall through map and mount is blurred still. iv tried fast after 2nd strike to long after 2n strike

You can do this without recalling the pal, I've perfected this method to around 6 seconds to butcher, mount, dismount, and then wash rinse and repeat

Did they patch it? My cleaver only hits 2 times and everytime I try it (no matter when I press, doesn't matter if I press directly with the second hit, a tenth of a second after the second hit or before the second hit or even directly after the first hit, it doesn't stop the animation and the pal dies)

The biggest problem is if you time it wrong the pal will stay in the pixel form or fall to the bottom of the map , but it works even than 😅

this is really helpful except small pal souls only nox can droip it with good rate , medium pal souls are low drops from helzephyr best if you go to desert(paladius and necromus area ) and fly around the map to find gold chests (1 trip gives me around 20-30 medium pal souls )

We desperately need a duplication glitch for technology points manuals. This glitch doesn’t work for manuals since the only pals to drop them is anubis and lyleen but there not mountable

Just do a run to the pal sanctuaries every couple chest resets, they usually give tech points. Also run through the caves in the ice zone far north, I have more points then I know what to do with

@@StopJerkingOff sounds like you might need to resort to doing this glitch on shadowbeak. If youre on a single player server, or doing MP where you are the host you can use cheat engine for that. I use a Pal editor and cheat engine in single player stuff to test things out for dedicated servers. Best of luck

Thanks for the tip. How long you have to wait? It did work in the beginning , pal fall under the map, have to change it pal desk. Afterwards , retry lost 3 of Frostalion nocturne, you need to be fast after the 2nd butchering. Does anyone know which pal drops the technical points? Need to capture more jetdragon, don't want to risk loosing it.

Managed to get it working after much trial and error. Small margin of error it seems. Ive managed to save my pals from permadeath a few times by immediately hard resetting the game. Loose the items but better than loosing thr pal

Dedicated servers have bad latency so its not going to be as effective as singleplayer

How are you getting Tech Manuals from Shadowbeak and how are you getting Legendary Blueprints from Frostallion, I've slaughtered both of them over 5 Dozen Times they keep dropping good resources but No Legendary Blueprints or Tech Manuals am I doing something wrong? I'm on Xbox by the way

3% chance per kill, non stacking. So each time you kill one you got a very small chance for it.

I might have a fix but I haven't tried it yet.... Leave your game to create a save or whatever way you 2ant to get the save, have someone join your world, have them take all your items you 2ant to dupe then they leave the game, then you leave the game and restore a save previous to when the other player joined.
