Because roof tiles align as wonky as they do, getting them to work with you is a real pain in the butt. I've made one of those generic factory "sawtooth" roof lines before, and it was a complete struggle in placing, and strategically breaking until I got exactly the shape I wanted without collapsing the whole thing. I cannot recommend the experience, even if the result is kinda neat visually. 😅 What would be cool is if you could make paints like in ARK:SE with things like the berries to make some of the tiles look even more visually appealing. A little white for the walls to brighten the interior to make it feel more spacious, some red for the roof to give it more warmth from a distance... What's there is good enough, and given that exploring to increase your knowledge of Pals and the world you woke up in is more the point than having a specific base camp, I can't really see them developing the building options all that rapidly.
