Starts off as a feel-good and overly generic pop song the likes of which you've heard a thousand times, then devolves into something crazy, unique, and while still not completely original sounding, with enough of its own flair and fun enough that it stands out.

They are threatening and it's a harsh place to survive, combine that with the inherent desire to control your surroundings it actually seems fairly normal... Mentally anyway.

Literally in the lore, this island has an effect on people that causes them to lose their morals and ethics, and it really shows that through gameplay, you are not forced to do anything awfully to progress. You can just save pals in cages and fight alongside them. And you can have an easy vegan diet. You don't need to do this stuff, it just makes things easier. The gameplay shows that the island has taken an effect on the player as well as everyone else.

I didn't waste my points unlocking the cleaver, I know I'd never use it. I have sold Pals in a settlement though and killed a lot of wild ones, but never my own Pals. I did catch the first Castaway woman you meet, but then I got chased for miles by two security officers lol.
