I find it very illuminating to watch you paint. I often feel like you are creating a new language, made up of lights and darks, shapes and colours. Heartfelt thanks.

Seeing how you approach the play stage really is helpful. You say you’re not liking anything yet and that’s ok. You just keen going and exploring, helping your students see that the play stage gives us total freedom to do random stuff with no outcome in mind.

I was soooooo happy to hear you say you don't typically like your work during the play stage bc I pretty much hate my pieces until they come together toward the end. Something clicks, and by the end I love it. It's such an emotional process lol. 🎢

Like the title,hanging by a thread! I big black tlove to squeeze paint! then squeegee big shapes i the yello, making textures and lines. Then lines w sm roller and light pt, use br paper to monoprint& print wh lines too!and redo somewhere! Then some yellowish gray mid gesso w wh. Then great big shape w open end, tom marker paint tombow paint marker lite circle+ str edges in dk r purpl choose a low contrast warm gray& some hi ❤
