Hey Pam..Ken here..Every labor day, they have their four day event that's near my bus company that I drive for. When I parked the bus, I'd walk in to the Dead Man's curve Car show, and what a show that is! Sadly, this is the first year they had to cancel. Now that was sad.

I like these originals that actually use the 10 carb setup. I've seen others with fake carbs with a single carb 4 barrel carb in the middle.

i believe that just 2 of the 10 2bbl carbs work or they are 1 bbl. 1 for each side works the engine the others are blocked off..

The real coach has 10 carbs.#2 has 2 4 barrel crabs.with a cobra air cleaner.Butch Patrics coach is powered by a small block chev.and is the #3 car.all others are fake.the Dracula was not destroyed after the series end.it wound up in Atlantic city in a bar hanging by chains.it was missing the air scoops and other various parts.

It was built under the direction of George Barris. Barris had a number of talented designers working under him, so, although George took credit, other did the actual work.

Tom Daniel designed it, Tex Smith started the koach and Dick Dean finished building it. Dick Dean was the main builder of the batmobile.

He had literally inches on each side of the door and very limited room to maneuver inside the room. Handling was probably not on the top of the design requirements for Barris. Thanks, again, for watching and commenting.

It's a small V8 with ten 2 barrel carburetors. It would be very difficult to get it to run properly in the first place.
