Saw a fully electric DeMag working at a Anthracite mining operation in Pennsylvania loading 785B Cat Trucks. Largest DeMag in North America at the time. Was very impressive. Got some great pictures with the large cable reel attached to the back.

Had a Demag in Oxford Quarry years back.

Was it an H185? And I believe Oxford had a Poclain shovel too?
@lawerencestimpson2280Ай бұрын
@@PAmining I am not sure of the Demag number.I do know it came from the Black Thunder Mine.(Wyoming?) We had an O&K also.All were cut up as well as the 33/11s.

That ole gal was from a much simpler time when you could actually perform repairs on your equipment and not need thousands of dollars worth of electronic equipment to communicate with several modules just to tell you the machine was locked out due to a fault in a piece of emissions equipment. Tier 0 for the win!😂

🤣🤣 agreed! Very simple machine to work on.

FIUNE opereator. Doesn't kill the trruck drivers like most of the idiots I know! BLESSINGS to ALL yall!
@TJV832 ай бұрын
1:31 most truck drivers will just sit there with a dumb look on their face instead of repositioning to help the shovel out, but then again the shovel man might’ve asked him to get a little closer and straighter on the radio
@craigsibley81612 ай бұрын
Yep as a former dumptruck driver I'd keep an eye on the dig to see what's happening. But a quick toot from the navvy driver got your attention quickly enough...

Absolute beast in action. Why don't they blast there though? Looks like it's working really hard to strip that bank...
@PAmining2 ай бұрын
It has been blasted, its an old road that the trucks used to run on and that's made it packed down right! Also, demags do not have the breakout force that the PC series have

Demag le précurseur des grosses pelles . Une 285 etait utiliser a la mine de charbon a carnaux ( France) dans les années 90. Machine en train de rouillé dans un champ avec la flèche casser et verin tordu.
