Yes, a demo always makes it more interesting, though Gemma is RARELY THE TALKING HEAD that some of the others are -- the ones who introduce many products, whilst sitting there the entire time, fully made up, whilst never moving. I dont think of her as being one of those--- and there are a few of them ;)🤗🤹‍♀️

Love the Bare Minerals Rescue Gel cream. It’s perfect…. Lovely light and slightly dewy coverage. Even use a few extra dots under my eyes as a light concealer as it doesn’t cake or make my under eyes too crepe-y! The shade range is good and forgiving too. Love it! Guys if you like the Missha one you HAVE TO check out the Purito snail clearing BB CREAM! It’s PERFECT! I’m almost 47 with lots of sun damage and I have horrible hit flashes, I work in healthcare and under a mask all day . It’s my HG and without a doubt you’ll love it ! Oh and I’m normal to dry skin type.

Off topic here, but I LOVE your Dane pic you have for your profile! I was a proud Dane mommy to my girl Rooby-Doo from 6wks to 8 & 1/2yrs. Always adored Danes as a small child watching Scooby-Doo. smart of you not to tan. I grew up in California before we had sunscreens with SPF. Although I moved north in my 20's I still managed to get sun spots and melanoma. You can't stress sunscreens enough. As soon as we had SPFs I started using them and continue to do so, summer and winter. Also wear a hat when I go for walks. Your skin is gorgeous and I'm envious of the backs of your hands.....mine have gardened for too many years. Thank you for your videos.

I haven't tried many but Chantecaille just skin works well on me. Good coverage and looks natural. I just bought the Chanel Water tint as it looks really natural too. Would love to try the Chantecaille cushion but would need a sample and there are no counters where I live. No way for that money would I risk it not matching!

I love the Chanel one for summer, during the day & IT Cosmetics, but use the illuminating version of their CC Cream - I’ve got about 30 foundations/etc that I’ve bought and decided that I just can’t stand feeling like I’m wearing anything on my face 🙄

The 4 I'm really enjoying are : Chantecaille Just Skin tinted moisturiser, Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue, Colourpop Pretty Fresh (btw, Colourpop are having a 30% sale right now) Guerlain L'Essentiel Natural Glow Foundation. You know when you're building one up to medium medium - is that when you're going "out out"? 😂😂😂 This was very helpful and now I want to try the Nyx Bare With Me one. It sounds like just the one to complete the different levels of finishes etc. I need for different skin days (hormones, weather, what's on TV, 🥴). 😉💗💗💗💗💗

What's your skin type? From what you listed( besides the Chantecaille one) which ones are the most hydrating and dewy? I have dry skin, so i like anything hydrating and dewy. I have dry skin, and I liked the Nyx Bare with Me actually as it didn't cling to patches. But, it wasn't luminous on my dry skin so i pass on it.

@@clisaa6974 They are both hydrating..admittedly its a while since I had the Nars. Nars in my opinion though has more coverage whilst retaining its lightness on the skin, ..whilst F and B more tinted moisturiser side...and yes dewy.😘💋

I know you don't want to call MAC FAB a foundation, but it is. When it first launched, years ago, tinted moisturizers were not yet in existence, therefore it is a foundation whether or not it's sheer, and "only" lasts 8 hours.🌹

It would be so useful if you included footage of each of the products in natural lighting, but I realise that's a LOT of extra work if you don't already have that footage :) I've used the Nars for many years, so easy to use and don't need to think about it. Have you tried the chanel water skin tint (is that what its called?).

I love anything that makes my skin look like skin and I'm sticking with my Cle de peau Radiant matte foundation and Chantecaille cushion foundation, I use the Chantecaille cushion foundation in summer months and Cle de peau Radiant matte foundation in cooler months love them both so much, please try the Cle de peau foundation range absolutely beautiful Gill UK 🇬🇧 💖 xx

I wore Shiseido Tinted Moisturizer for years (in the pinky/beige tube). Now I see it's being totally discontinued. Did Bare Minerals for a few years also. My last purchase was Chanel's Sheer Healthy Glow in "light". I love it and have it on now. I live near Tampa, FL and it's very warm and humid, and my Chanel looks perfect !!!

Any advice on which of these are ‘dewy’ please (not radiant ☺️) ? I don’t like my tinted m to contain ‘radiance’ or shimmer, especially in summer & in natural light … But I have dry mature skin & want to look moisturised & dewy. I like to look like I woke up looking like this and not got make up on (if only!) 😉 * I am alway confused when company’s use the words ’radiant’ or ‘dewy’. I think of ‘radiant’ as being very slightly shimmery (mica) and ‘dewy’ to mean it looks wet or shiney on the skin (no tiny particles). BUT different companies don’t seem to agree with me or each other 🙄😆 Bare M rescue gel is my go to. I’ve been using for years but fancy a change! Thanks. 🥰

The oil free Laura Mercier is available at John Lewis online. I think Wayne Goss said it was exclusive to them at the moment (the newest formula). I love it but can’t really tell the difference between it and the first one in your video.

The Missha is excellent to add to other foundations if you want to add a little bit of glow and coverage. I use it with my L'Oreal serum foundation. I also use it to foundations that are too yellow for me. It's a great mixer.

Reminds me of how I seldom wear the Rimmel B&B cream which has SPF and lots of good things supposedly in it, a beige tube, at least I think it's Rimmel. Another younger BG from Australia tried it after I recommended it to her and she loved it, I would say a medium coverage. Thanks Gemma!!

Can anyone explain why we put moisturisers on BEFORE sunscreen but tinted moisturisers on afterwards? I understand it must be because of the cosmetic element of the tinted moisturiser… but surely the skincare element of a moisturiser applied over a sunscreen is completely lost when applied over a ton of sunscreen, so why not just apply tinted sunscreen, or sunscreen followed by a very small dab of foundation or strategically placed concealer? I know I’m rambling, but, In short, I can’t understand why I would want to apply a tinted moisturisers on top of a sunscreen rather than something that isn’t intended to be - at least in part - skincare… because I can’t for the life of me believe that any of the skincare ingredients would find their way through 1/2 teaspoon of spf50 to the skin it’s intended to benefit

The Erborian cc cream comes out white and adjusts to the colour of your skin..whilst it is beautiful, you need to have pretty good skin..because it doesn't provide any coverage. Brilliant for summer and a day were you need a less makeup look. I haven't tried the Erborian bb cream but it looks to be more coverage..watch Nadine Baggott videos..she swears by it!

Hi Gemma, IT Cosmetics CC Cream has SPF 50. Would that be a substitute for SPF suncream? I mix Fair with Fair/Light of the above. I change the percentages of each according to the season. I hate the SPF I have at the moment that is Ultrasun Face Anti-pigmentation as it is so drying. Instead I mix Simple Face Cream SPF 30 with the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, then follow it with Bareminerals mineral veil SPF25. I don't know what you think about that? Thanks for your great videos 🙏

No no no and no again for substituting your stand alone spf. You’ll probably get an spf of 3-7 with the amount that you’ll apply. You’re always better using the recommended amount of a stand alone spf and using makeup with spf as added security xxx
