I do not like the wet, glass skin look, even though I have dry skin, I love a satin to more matte look. Hoping the affordable video will have a foundation with my shade!

I did pick up the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow pallette and it really is stunning. I also picked up the shade Lisa in the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and I am obsessed with everything about it. Gorgeous look again from you, I love your “trying new makeup” videos ❤x

I really like the look of the mascara. I use korean mascaras to prime my lashes. This way they are locked all day in the curl. They also have lash primer that lock the curl in too and give volume. I will def try those too. You need a korean mascara remover with thimose though. My lashes are increadlbly healthy too, since I use them.

@jennyladen I use the judydoll metalwand mascara as first layer and a normal drugstore mascara on top. I buy the mascara and the remover from stylevana normally or yesstyle. Whoever has the best offer.

Totally get the crying thing. I've had the anger, brain fog, tiredness, "what have I come in this room for?" , rashes, bad hair, falling out hair, sweats, itchy skin and more! On HRT patches now and things have improved. It's not nice losing yourself and can be quite scary. You feel like you are going mad! Sending you lots of love and hugs.😘😘😘

I’m 49 next week . And I am slap bang in the middle of peri menopause. It has honestly been worse than puberty. I have been thumped with pretty much all possible symptoms…😢 and I am already on hrt . I’m moving up to the max oestrogen patch next week so cfingers crossed it eases again a bit. My mum also had a horrible time but thankfully once she was actually through the menopause she bounced back a bit. Sending all my love to us ladies at this stage of our life …we will bounce right back soon ❤️ hugs to you Gemma , you are still looking beautiful

Aww Gemma, had to pop on and say I have just had the Bobbi Brown palette delivered and it’s stunning as you say. I will def use every one of the shadows. It’s perfect for anything from a one shadow day look, right up to a Christmas Day/New Years Eve glam look. I have even been playing with mixing the shimmers to get different depths of Champagne/Gold. Lisa E did say there'd be more shades of the new lippie coming out next yr. I love the tone of Medici but think it'd be too dark on me so hoping she'll bring out a light cool toned mauve. One of my 1st eye palettes was a Bobbi Brown and I loved it. Funnily enough I swatched the new Smokey Gleam palette - more cool toned than the one you have - and it felt so lovely. They are having a sale on Bobbi B's website and it may have just found its way into my basket. Also, I discovered an Everyday Greys 3 shadow palette which was also on sale. When I went to checkout it had jumped into my basket 🤣. Emma x

I use Lancôme Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara with Lancôme lash Primer and love it! It lasts all day without moving or shedding. Also I just ordered the Bobbie Brown eye palette as it looks gorgeous on your eyes. I have blue eyes and would be interested to see the other colours used in the palette. I love the blush, amazing. I also have a Tom Ford lip balm in shimmery pink. Yes, it was expensive. 🥰🤗🇨🇦🍁

All the makeup looks beautiful on you. You're an expert at applying it so well. The Bobbi Brown pallette is gorgeous and so is the lipstick. I watched a video with Lisa Eldridge where she explained all her research that went into developing a truly recyclable lipstick. Personally, I think one of her darker shades would go nicely with the look you created, although Simone looks very nice.

First 3 months of HRT are hard, but I would go through it again because it is such a health-saver. I have not felt and looked so good in years. I have to say that I still get very emotional when I don't supplement magnesium enough - I have to take 100% of a daily dose most of the time.

It's hard. Know your skin tone, know your undertone, but most of the time it's guess work. Try and go into store rather buying online unless they have a good shade description online xxx

I hope the next generation has an easier time with perimenopause with all the info available to them. I feel like the women before me were unable or unwilling to talk about it, so I was pretty unprepared! I always feel a bit more normal when other women describe what is happening to them, even if it’s different than what I’m experiencing, because society wants us to believe that we are just crazy and hysterical! I also saw Charlotte’s video and wanted the palette…and last night when I saw some of the new Pac Man collection, I broke down and placed my order! Can’t wait to get it, it looks gorgeous on both of you.
