"PAMS of Dallas created a series of jingles packages for an automated musical format called "Love Stereo." From what I can gather, many radio owners had an FM outlet that was pretty much used for anything from a steady diet of showtune / soundtrack albums to... whatever. My understanding is that FM wasn't where the money was- the action was on AM. Not until college stations started using FM in the creation underground radio- in essence, creating album-oriented radio- did anyone realize FM could be a happening place. In the meantime, PAMS created this sort of format and these were the jingles that were in use for Memphis radio station WREC FM. "Love Stereo" wasn't one of the "Numbered Series" but jingles a station could use if they bought into the automated Love Stereo format. (Hopefully someone much more knowledgeable than I am will chime in with more insight on "Love Stereo.")

@@VBaskin2010 Sure, but in general I like the stuff from the 60s. Are the B96 jingles from the 90s?

@@VBaskin2010 The bulk of the jingles I like and have are 60s. A few 70s and it stops around 1975 or so.
