What I am taking away from this then is that I am still the child that I was years ago--but because of years of conditioning within the environments that I have experienced and lived in--I have somehow gone astray. And in order to be at peace within myself and, if necessary, effective to those around me, I must somehow learn to accept who I was spiritually as a child and to grow that experience regardless of who or what rejects it. Does this make sense--inotherwords, does this sound like I'm beginning to understand who I really am?

Yes, but YOU need to be liked in order to continue to generate a living; lest you be relegated to waiting tables to make a living. Just saying.

I think I know what you mean, and can relate. I’m all into the self-help stuff and pursuing a spiritual path, but at the end of the day - you gotta get along with the game or end up broke.
