Almirante Grau is surprisingly good for me. Although I got her for free with a Blitz Pass Coupon, she isn't worth paying for. I find her as a Belfast with no smoke at teir 8. AA is great. The Combat instructions are powerful but it doesnt last very long and its ridiculous to reach 60 hits with 8 guns with an 8 second base reload time. I think the skill should be at least 40 hits, with 50 at most or a 30 second skill duration.

The problem with this ship is that you need hands to make it work. But if you have hands, something like a Belfast 43 would be a much better option

Oh yeah, there are so many good cruiser picks for tier 8 that are just better overall. This one will teach you some good skills but you can learn those in other ships

I loaded up every AA option and have received a clear sky every mission. I think some CV drivers were surprised they ran out of aircraft.

I'm very interested in what they add as minor ship to the pass. Usually it's a ship 2 tiers below the main one. The tech tree Almirante Cochrane or is there a T6 premium in that line? Have they ever done a pass with ships from 2 different countries? I also went for the FR25 head first when I saw Giulio Cesare was in the pass as well. To be honest, I'm kinda tempted to go for the pass anyway, as it's the last pass I can do (time wise) and I can use the extra gold for the Gouden Leeuw camo. (Yeah, I'm the Dutch idiot that started on that line and has the Gouden Leeuw as 1st T10). Somehow I like odd balls. (And alas no budget to get DZP or Tromp) Also, you said that the pass is about $10 , but in EU it's €15. (when I use the exchange rate it should be €9 with the $10 prize). Is there a drop in prize for the regular pass? The 25 for the extended pass sounds familiar though.

Watching more gameplay with this ship has me on the fence about the pass. Its combat instruction ability needs a lower threshold to activate. Even then, it will make the ship playable. I don’t see this ship being seen in the tournament scene, unless there are ship and tier restrictions in the rules. It’s an interesting concept to alter the combat instruction skill to give a ship a different flavor.

When you struggle to get 60k in a battle flooded with BBs at T8 then you know the ship is pretty useless. It's needs work as it has nothing but main guns that don't do much damage, HE or AP, and no torps or secondaries. It all hinges on the reload gimmick and that's not enough. Even an 80%'er who can extract everything is going to struggle as bobbing and weaving only does so much and there just is no alpha.

Downgraded 7P... okk.. Pure guns tricky ones ( mmm wrost dpm... OK and why??)... After a while out the game .. back this holidays checking the news etc... Blitz pass okkish u get 2 ships t5 t8 for 14 bucks( euro zone).. She worth? Mmmm tricky question...again... I have the 7p like the shape and the background of the Admiral Grau ( history etc ) Challenging one absolutely... She has a lot of work to be put on her and improve a bit what she can do... I ve seen a couple of player having good results but mostly a lot of others struggling... let's see what happens with her... Good to see ya again !!

This ship is trash. It cant start fires and yet the battle honors is set 5 fires in a battle. WG are u for real. Looks cool, but you scammed us on this haha
