Panama Canal Full Transit both direction highlights on cruise ship with Royal Caribbean & Norwegian

The Panama Canal is the world's greatest shortcut. it is approximately 80 kilometres long between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This waterway was cut through one of narrowest saddles of the isthmus that joins North and South America. The Canal uses a system of locks with entrances and exit gates. The locks function as water lifts. They raise the ship from sea level(the Pacific or the Atlantic) to the level of Gatun Lake (26 meters above sea level). The ship then sails the channel through the Continental Divide.

Hello! I am doing the same exact cruise as you did. I am just wondering if you guys purchased wifi during the trip and how much was it if you did. Thank you so much for your videos, they have truly been very helpful.

Hi, Thanks for viewing my videos. I bought WiFi package while I was on RCL Serenade of the Seas. It was less than $20 per day after discount. However, I did not buy any WiFi package while I was on NCL Jewel. Our NCL Jewel itinerary was port intensive with only 2 sea days. I was able to use free data roaming with my T-Mobile plan throughout Panama transit and at every port stops. The NCL internet package is more expensive at around $29 per day. You can get discount booking pre-cruise or as a higher tier NCL latitudes rewards member.
