In this video, The Retro Pal will try to restore the Panasonic 3DO FZ-10, part of the fifth generation of video game consoles released in 1994. This model is a redesigned version with a slimmer and lighter design that replaced the FZ-1.

Very informative. I'm currently taking apart my 3DO that was in a flood and was having trouble getting the pins holding the CD drive. I think I'll try a screwdriver more like what you have. Thank you!

Very informative video! I found out which part I need to find as a replacement (z001). However, you are doing capacitor testing wrong. In order to find out the correct capacity of the capacitor, it must first be soldered out of the diagram. The capacitor tester showed 1400uF when I measured the 470uF capacitor in the same way, but when I unsoldered it, it was 468uF, which is a very good result for its age. But thanks again for such a video!

High quality capacitors but make sure they are Panasonic, Rubycon or Nichicon.
