You can go on "personal-view" and find the best setting for you......today there are more news and efficents settings than the 244 intra set.......

Simply Marvelous! Yeah! Marvelous and Clean. Very pleasing to the eye. Perhaps the best shoot I've seen so far. No grading and no cc? Wow! Does this setting/ patch span? Have you tested for faster motion? It would be nice to see/ know. Fantastic work. Love it.

Great video. makes we want to sell my 60d. Does the lens make that much difference or is the hack the dealmaker?! i have a 17-55 canon i could use with extender. Looks stunning to say theres no grading aswell. Top edit too, the music is perfect!

What type of adapter you used for the lens? And the lens have a 9-177 x 2 is 18-234, and x 2 (crop of the camera) is 36-468, that is right?

Thanks to alls, the SD is a Sandisk Extreme Pro 95 mb/s class 10, for the hack now there are more better on personalview

i'm curious to know more about your lens choice. are you happy with it? have you tried shooting low light at 1x with the iris open almost all the way and ETC on? if so, did you notice any chromatic aberration?

Bit of both I would say - using the hack with a top-notch prime lens will certainly work wonders...

Every video I've seen comparing hacked to non-hacked footage I see almost no difference. This footage looks great but how big of a difference do you feel the hack really makes? It doesn't add to DR or resolution as far as I know so what's the biggest advantage?

the hack improve the coded image resolution and details, but the biggest difference is given by the lens.... go to personal view.com you can find all the hack..... if you find a lens like this go to the other my video...

Thanks for the video.......No you don't melt nothing, this is not a Canon.......... Yes if you use a good and fast SD card the GH2 is really stable....I test in all condition, and never 1 time crash....... It is an INTRA @ 244mb/s but in VBR........... For the moment the GH2 is the best DSRL, more than Canon.....

It's nothing to do with grading bit rate of equipment " although that does help" anyone can do this with a point and shoot camera, what you need is creativity, subject matter, storyboarding, good editing. Doesn't matter how good the equipment is, because unless you have creativity, eye for subject matter, storyboarding etc, it won't make a jot of difference. Stick an iPhone on a smooth tripod on a well lit tropical beach and slowly pan along as your model walks across the sun kissed beach.. The end result would be far better than filming your cat indoors as he runs in and out of frame with your 100k pro cinema camera. Know what's going to be in the frame before you even start and know where it's going to be moving, know which way you are going to be moving. Think about what's in the foreground, background, centre of frame etc. If it's just yourself and you have no " actor" with you then filming just random people is going to take some effort as you don't know if they are going to slow down, speed up, bend down etc, so smooth action is going to be difficult, plus all the other things that get in the way.
