Lets test this out! I have a €2 Soligor 400mm F6.3 in M42 mount. A friend bought it on a flee market and gave it to me. So in this video we gonna find out if it is usable.

It has a very typical "older lens" look. Softer and vintage feeling. Might have something to do with the rear element lens coating you were referring to! Nice shots! and for 2 Euro who could complain!

€2 lens. More than €2000 equipment. One day shooting with it PLEASURE = " *Priceless* "... Then I love people who do not hid the truth and are courageous enough to tell the world, if their el-cheapo sucky rusty-dusty lens is not good enough, it might be because they don't know how to use. Then and then, to go through the real learning curve and get the hang of all that is needed to bring out the real-life, out of that forgotten vintage item. REALLY INSPIRING and I loved every second of watching this man. Thank you dearly for this great upload and wonderful inspiring content, and surely enough you have a new subscriber and two thumbs-ups! You can adapt the M42 to Canon FD so you can use it with your Speedbooster!
