I didn't know it has global shutter backing to the time I bought it. Astonishing!

Hi. Where did you see that this has a global shutter? The manual doesn't say. Can you link to where you read that please? The video clips look really nice. Thanks.

I believe it was on BH Photo. I saw it when I was researching this camcorder. I bought this because of the sensor

could you test the panning again but with no ibis? I think that's what's causing the wobble at 4:15

@@masguapoako thank you. Really want to get to the bottom of this if it's a real global shutter or just a very fast rolling shutter. Another good test would be to do some flash photography. If it's global either the frame will entirely get exposed or not. If it's a rolling shutter it will only expose part of the frame.

Hi, now in 2023... I see you got the one I been looking at... Your work is really excellent, I got a lot to learn from watching your channel! I like to ask you that been working with both mirrorless and now this one... How shall one best compare for example a bit cheaper camera from the same company, the Panasonic AG-CX10 to the newer HC-X2, like what can one do that the other cannot? Please advice me what the main things to consider would be as you see it.. is a huge price difference but many things happens in 2023... I want to live-send from protest and make small documentaries as well as short films... I am not good at all the tech stuff but I am good at directing, creating ideas and working with people... I want a camera that I can go out with and that is professional so that I can make money by it as well as do vlogs at home or make short films with actors as well... Most people tell me to stay away from camcorders.. and instead get a Black Magic 4k or the newer Sigma FP... The Sigma FP looks really cool, and they seem to listen to their users which I totally like! I love the cinema look but I also love to catch things quickly that happens around town when I am out n' about.... I of course understand setting up light and mics at home or on a rented location with actors and follow a scene schedule is a totally different work day than following a protest on the street or making a vlog to KZbin when out with my bike in the country side... But, I cannot afford right now to buy all kinds of different cameras and a studio, but I still want to make actors look great in short films as well as have a fairly easy access to a camera when interesting events happens around town.. so, what do you that worked with both mirrorless and camcorders think about all this? and Panasonic AG-CX10 vs HC-x2, what are the pros and cons except for the big price difference between them? do I need HC-x2 in 2023 and forward on, and if so why? do all of the CX and HC cameras live broadcast the same way? thanks for a great channel and hope to here your thoughts on the topic° Kind regards from Sweden :)

I haven't done any live streaming so I can't really comment on that. Since you're going to be out in the field , and the main thing to be able to capture footage as it happens, then I would suggest the Panasonic AG-CX10. The HC-X2 is too big to be running around with and not ideal to be holding it for long periods of time. I carry a big tripod too when using the hc-x2. Now the main reason I got the HC-X2 is the price, I paid same price as the cx-10

@@masguapoako ah, I see! so is more a camera you plan things through ahead of time with than a run and gun in demosrations? .. but how could you pay the same price for this as a CX-10?? at what website can one purchase the HC X2 for such god price? thanks for getting back! I like the HC-X2, seem like it could be great at home setting up like a home-studio over time for live broadcasting .. what do you think?
@masguapoako Жыл бұрын
I stumbled on the low price by just google shopping, but I had to research the business to make sure they are authorize resellers. Yes this camera is good for home studio set up.

@@masguapoako I see, I will do the same... I feel I know too little of camcorders vs cinema cameras .. I see they cost about the same on this level we are talking now... but what I want to do is poetic documentary work .. I am very fascinated by Alexey Titarenko .kzbin.info/www/bejne/d33akpuBidp9nLs I like to make documenters based on the Poetic Mood, for example, I like to use graphics, animations, maps, charts, or diagrams to explain complex or abstract concepts, show data or statistics, or create transitions mixed with slowmotion of people in protests, arguments or neglect of each other's point of view, showing empathy vs non-empathy in people. I like to show not tell. When I have the details of people's facial emotions as well as slow motions and long exposure on video just like Alexey Titarenko but on video I like to then use music, sound effects, or ambient noise to create atmosphere, emotion, or contrast. I am a trained actor and started a master in documentary film production I never finished, so I got some knowledge of those things and so like to also use voice-over narration, text, or subtitles to provide additional information, context, or commentary to what happens between people, show mass hysteria or control. want people to see that we perhaps can live without polarisation and politics. I understand is am ambitious goal, so I want to just start small catching a minute here and there when out and about in town... but what camera can do long exposure , making my work so close to that Russian photographer that I can find the perfect shutter speed on video to mimic the style of Alexey Titarenko? kzbin.info/www/bejne/d33akpuBidp9nLs thanks for getting back, I know too little of all the tech in cameras today. I had my university training in early 2000 and since then I have not touched cameras, I see a lot has happened since we had tape cassettes in our broadcast camcorders... so asking around on KZbin now to those that work with the latest cameras to understand betteer what might be the right camera for my ideas. thanks!

That "Rolling Shutter Issue" in the first clip is a very simple fix. That kind of rolling shutter issue happens when you are using the camcorder on a tripod with the steady-shot feature enabled. 2 fixes will address this problem. 1, take the camcorder off the tripod and shoot handheld, or 2, turn off and disable the steady-shot feature. So many people forget that the steady-shot feature will not work well when a camcorder is mounted to a tripod. Wind and other movement is exaggerated when on a tripod with the steady-shot enabled. Turning it off corrects the rolling shutter issue.
