Hang on - P mode isnt manual. Setting the aperture to 1.4 is going to be ignored by that P mode. That's the point of P Mode.

Hi Mark I have just watched your youtube on LX-7 set up for video. Very good . I am going on holiday to Sicily. Very bright sunlight have you any suggestions as to what settings I could use on my LX-7 to reduce glare please. Thanks Mike

Mike Lovitt Have a great holiday in Sicily. For bright sun in my videos, I set my camera on 0 and always look to see where the sun is with my shadow. Do not shoot into the sun with this camera unless you find a nice tree or shadow to shadow your lens. The sun should be to your side or behind you. It shoots fantastic outdoor as well as indoor photos with the settings Mark demonstrates in this video.

😂😂😂 what the hell is all this? There’s so many unnecessary settings here… iso 3200 is too high for a state- too noisy. Why multi focus mode and not just set the focus point when you want it? Why f1.4 for real estate? Why just JPEG’s and not raw? There’s far more things that need addressing here… I know it’s an old video but I’m sorry to say this isn’t how to use this camera for anything… P mode is an auto mode. Aperture priority would be a much better setting for real estate that’s just for starters…. 😂😂😂
