Panasonic Lumix TZ10 Repair (focus problem)

Just disassembly and assembly with turning motors, wheel and pieces inside lens. This fix problem for me.

@@78b39062af45ec what screwdriver did you use? I have a really small one but I am unsure whether it will work with this one or not. Also, did you only use one screwdriver throughout was hard to tell.

This repair was for a focus problem. It would have been really good to see the effect of the focus before and after the repair. When mine is at maximum zoom, the focus is very slightly off. Is that what you had, or was it not focusing at all?

The tiny #0 Phillips-head screwdriver was not hard to find, but there's another tool you're using to poke at the tiny catches (with a point on one end) and remove the ribbon-cable connectors (with a flat on the other). It seems to be made of plastic and also has some very specific-looking notches. What is it called and where can it be obtained? Or what can be used in its place? Thank you for a very detailed video that gets right to the point without excessive introduction or chatter!

hola amigo hoy 26/08/2017 fui a encender mi camara fujiflin jx580 y estaba en blanco la pantalla y el zoom retraido de tanto buscar videos no consegui nada le coloque el video a mi esposo y agarro la camara como dijiste y en la palma de la mano le dio tres golpes mas o menos fuerte y me abrio todo esta como nueva jajajaja mas contenta muchas gracias por tu video

it is a lot of detail , how many times you have to dis mental the camera to put it back so smooth :) ? I have the same tz 10 i will not dis mental it like that , will not be able to put it back :) My lens is dirty ( have seen the clean up video) .

The side screws will not turn! I removed the bottom screws no problem.
