I have the same model bought way back in 2004-05 in NZ now it stopped working ..cassette wont eject , it wont turn on

Greetings! You need to unscrew the screws on the cover of the cassette receiver. There is a motor in the right corner. It must be supplied with a current of 5 V. The cassette can be removed without problems. Or carry the camera to the workshop.

Hi I'm in the same boat - did you have any luck? My PC isn't recognising the camera :( I've tried all sorts of suggestions but nothing is working.

With minidv you cant just go from the camera to a computer unless your computer supports firewire. Just grab a composite to us and use obs to digitize your footage
