I just found one of these at a thrift shop for five bux. Mine's got brown faux-leather instead of black though. According to GIS it was also available in pink and green. Super nice little machine!

I have a radio in the garage that I was planning on producing such a video with. My wife found it at goodwill for $2. Destined for the garbage heap, it was saved for us :) It's more a modern 80-90s era GE radio, but will make a good candidate for a restoring/cleaning informational video.

Anything from Panasonic National was really high quality. I have a model RC7469 flip clock radio made in 1971. It's my every day alarm, looks really cool too. Flip clocks...another out of control collection of mine.

WOW ❗️. Nice radio❗️ I really love the old Panasonics. I found an RF-728 for $ 5.oo. Since I cannot work on radios myself, I’ve had to send it off for a complete re-do. Super cool looking radio. Smaller than yours. But very cool. For a larger radio,you got a good one, and really nice shape ‼️ 🙂👍‼️

It seems that most all these older, larger Panasonics really are excellent for AM DXing.

They always have ferrite antennas of greater length and quality.

It seems to have more masculine qualities to be considered a queen and it performs like a king. It sure cleans up nicely quite a good classic find. Keep up the good work.

A little late but wow your 930 is cleaner then mine! Mines been used more and has the chrome paint worn a little the plastic trim, your speaker grill is also cleaner to.

If you remember, this is the exact radio you told me to check out on Ebay. It needed some work, but now it's rocking.

@@todderbert Yeah I remember. You cleaned it up real nice! Now you gotta find an RF-933 which is in my opinion a more stylish looking radio with a nicer grill and is has more brushed aluminum on the volume and tone controls. It's also an early attempt at consolidating the components through the use of single row IC packages.

possibly. funny that my favorite radio is the one I use all the time..and that is tied between three radios atm. My small AM Magnavox 39, NIA RD-206SP and my GE SR.
