Thanks for this video! I returned to my childhood! I remember right away how I spent time with my grandmother! She had a Panasonic RX-M70. But the belt mechanism broke after 5 years. But I want to order the same one for myself, but already the RX-M70USB model, there is already even Bluetooth. It will be like a childhood memory!

I have one similar like this, and it works well. I like the battery mod, but no offense its kind of silly because you can just get recharable type C batterys, but its still cool.

Beautiful results once again. If you could find a switched-mode module to convert the rechargeable batteries to 6V instead of the linear regulator, you wouldn't need the heatsink and you'd extend the battery life a bit. Not an easy find, but something you might want to look into.

DUDE ! Back in january 2018 i bought a multifunction radio (tape + radio + MP3 player) made by Golon model MX-R71USB that is VERY similar to the Panasonic radio that you showed in the video 😲😁

I would not use a linear voltage regulator, because you waste half of the energy. If the radio works with 5V you could use one of the powerbank modules and the 3 cells in parallel or if it really needs 6V use a step down converter. Or just use a 2S board directly, the radio should tolerate 8,4V max.

Una pregunta, ¿ Esta radio grabadora se puede llevar a cualquier lugar, según dicen que es portátil ? Eso de las baterías recargables, me parece muy buena opción para ya no tenerla "Encadenada" al toma corriente eléctrico y no seguir consumiendo energía eléctrica a lo tonto.

Тоже люблю заниматься чисткой и профилактикой аппаратуры. Это очень похоже на наркотик. :) После сборки даже избавляться от аппарата не хочется. Вы раньше мыли водой всё под ряд, теперь работаете аккуратнее. Почему не разобрали двигатель лентопротяжного механизма? Были уверены в его работоспособности?

Два двухкасетника Sharp и JVC купленные в Австралии в 1989 г собраны в Малайзии и Южной Корее. Машинная магнитола National 1989 г собрана на Тайване. Аудио плеер 1989 г фирмы Sanyo собран в Сингапуре, а вот инженерный калькулятор JVC 1989 г сделан в Японии.

I see that you know how to restore sound equipment but how about customizing it? You could customize a mini component from the 2000s by adding LED lights, high-definition speakers, bluetooth, among other things, and giving it a spectacular paint finish.😅🤩
