Panasonic S1H Touch Screen Autofocus Not Working

Thank you for the video! I have the same problem on gh6. It doesn't matter what lens is on the camera. On g90 everything works without problems. It seems that Panasonic simply removed this feature from their new cameras.

Was this solved? I am using the S1 and native lenses LUMIX 20-60 and still can't do the touchscreen focus like on the GH5. It can be on M since touch screen focus is a manual think - you have to touch it which replaces the focus ring. It's bizarre - it should work since the menu settings are the same as the GH5.

Hello Swapnil, Did you checked if variable frame rate mode is turned off? Autofocus mode will not work if this setting is enabled.

If you touch the little box on your screen [AF] it will AF on the area of the first tap. I cannot figure out how to do it with one touch only.
