Panasonic SA-BT330 Home Theatre Blu Ray Player Repair with F76 Error - UK eBay Reseller

Trying to fix a Panasonic SA BT330 Home Theatre Blu Ray Player with error code F61 and error code F76. I tried to fix this Blu Ray player before but gave up after replacing the 2 capacitors that other forums I've searched in suggest to replace. I kind of stumbled upon the problem component with this blu-ray player by checking some of the components on the board.
This will not be getting sold as the bottom front cover is smashed but it will replace my old current testing unit which has already sold for £20.

Thanks for your video, I think I will buy an ESR meter to check caps in circuit, I think it is a good investment and saves time when you have boards with lots of caps.

Many thanks for the video. Had a problem with continuous "Please Wait" message. Followed your video and found the 400V 180uf capacitor was defective. Changed capacitor and all working fine, cheers.

Thank you for posting this video! Separate question, have you ever encountered an SA-BT330 that while functioning with no issue produces a pungent burning smell? I have that scenario, but upon opening the casing see no indication of anything frying. Any thoughts you can pass along will be most helpful,. Thanks again.

excellent video I had a similar failure, only clips and it didn't turned on. The capacitor was holding the voltage (170 VDC - 120 VAC supply) and the capacitance reading was higher than 500 mF on the circuit board I cleaned the surroundings of the STR then suddenly it turned it on. It is working. Where canI get the schematics for this PS board Thanks Julio. Capacho Venezuela
