That is one exciting model with great attention to scheme - which is itself so attractive for this type. I had a Tornado F3 and also put the sidewinders on the outside until I saw photos- seemed logical to me too. I love the foam boxes as they are more paint friendly, make it easy to unbox and I have gouged out recesses to accommodate the ordnance when reboxing so you don't have to remove stores with the risk of breakage.

Yeah its got great detail. I did the same thing with my firs HM Tornado video, as no instructions were included with that one so I did the video with the missiles incorrectly mounted. Wasn't until I had a viewer tell me I had stuffed up that I realsied,haha. Ive even seen them fitted the wrong way on hobby websites so it seems an easy thing to do with these!! I do enjoy a foam box myself also so much easier. Thanks for checking out the video!!

Man, that is a slick unit! That livery is really nice with the 2-tones and the orange or red safety zone lines on top. As you mentioned, it is nice to see a Germany Navy model. It's hard to believe that Tornados are now pushing 50-years-old! 🤠👍

Yes it looks great in this scheme. Its crazy there used to be a time a new plane was made every 5 or 10 years and so many different types through the 50's to 70's, hell even the Raptor is near 20 years in service! The F-15 is near pushing 50 too I think!! This is what happens when you don't have a proper war,haha.

@@heavymetaldiecast Yes, exactly what I have noticed too. The F-15 and F-16 are over 50-years old since they designed and nearly 50-years since first flights. Still badass mofos, but true, not the new planes on the block. I was blown away when I found out a few weeks ago that the C-17 basically dates to about 1981 (contract and designs)...but they've been in service for about 30-years now too. And you'll hate this as much as I do, but the A-10 is just about done, in service. A day I hoped would never come.

@@espeescotty Yes sadly I realise the Hogs days are numbered!!! I'm about to do a review on one and the unit the aircraft is from is transitioning to F-16's in 2025!! Which makes it even less likely I will ever get to see one fly in my lifetime!! Let alone hear some brrrttt action for real!!! Just more reason for me to dislike the F-35,haha....its like the Hornets taking over from the Tomcats all over again,haha. It hurts!!!😂😂

Thats not a bad thought. These are parts that can be easily broken for sure. At least it was just bent, and I could bend it back to a more normal position. Thanks for watching the video!!!
