Amazing!!! This wasn't noticed. Haven't seen the movie yet but got your point very well. He literally LIVED to the advice of his father Sachinda...This happened when Pancham had finished composing बडा नटखट है from Amar Prem...It didn't had the murki sung by Lataji in है रे earlier ...Sachinda advised "Pancham, Shaktida is the director but you are the music director...It's your job to nourish the song...Then Pancham added the way we hear है रे... कृष्नकन्हैया...And so on..." We always see loRD's song totally in sync with the situation in most of his songs...Very very few composers show this dedication... Amazing observation माधवराव...👍👍👌

It's nothing if he didn't get many awards. He remains the unquestionable greatest. It reminds one that Rossini was more popular than Beethoven in their day, and Beethoven often expressed his dismay about it. But 200 years later, Rossini is remembered for a few frothy works, but Beethoven is revered as the greatest composer, after J S Bach.

Vijay ji...one thing I noticed ..as a layman singer...it is very difficult to sing RD composition bcoz of varying scale or harkat present . unlike other MD..even his simple songs ( Eg Aanewale pal..so simple but so difficult to emulate..)..no wonder even accomplished singers rarely sing his songs in reality shows.
