The woman in red is Simran who had the best comic timing and best dancer of the era. She is literally the sole female superstar of her era and great in dramatic acting as well. It really shocked me her fashion sense is on par or even better (early 2000s) than her Hollywood counterparts of that era.

this is still my go-to watch movie but i wont recommend to others bcoz this movie has lot of word play it will be hard to understand the joke and chances of missing out the joke is high. This is the best comedy movie to me or any tamilian

The lady in red is the wife, but they were separated and she attends the function to reconcile with him. But, the friends’ wives and their families think the lady in blue is the wife and the lady in red is his mistress trying to steal him. It’s just a huge comic misunderstanding. The worst part is the guy had to play along with the lie to save his friends’ marriages. You must watch the whole movie to understand this.
