As a long time player of roblox, I am so happy to see famous youtubers calling out roblox tiktok kids for doing their cringe and being more toxic than Chernobyl. I used to be literally addicted to roblox - I would play it for more than 15 hours a day and I even tried to set up parental controls on my own computer because even 11yo me knew it wasn't good, but the controls didn't last long lol. I watched a bunch of video game addiction videos to try and help myself, and then bought myself some $50 headphones so I could stay up until 2am to play. I would then wake up at 9am and drag myself out of bed at 10am, being exhausted due to lack of sleep. I would even dream about playing roblox. I uninstalled roblox on all my devices only to install them again a few days later - keep in mind the games I was playing were Adopt Me, Brookhaven RP, cringe hospital rp games and a bit of Royale High. I still feel so guilty because I got my grandma to buy me $30 in robux every second week, this went on for a while and now whenever my grandma and I go to the shops or somewhere I try not to buy anything to make up for all the robux. Said robux was being spent on Adopt me and royale high gamepasses. I play roblox a lot less now (thank god) and gradually grew out of it. My parents still don't know about anything that happened. I was so relieved when my dad put parental controls on my 11yo sister's laptop...

I used to play in 2009, the biggest issues for me was how little you can do now without money. Remember when Tix used to be a thing? Everyday you would get 10 for logging on and some shirts and pants only costed like 3 Tix. They completely removed that and now you only have Robux, Robux was a thing back in the day but you HAD to use real money to get them. You also had the opportunity to make your own shirts and worlds for free? Like what? Dating on roblox back in the day was ALWAYS a thing, they called it OD. Cause it was considered Online dating. But it was absolutely not allowed in game. They also didn't sensor everything ages ago.
