Some key aspects related to the Panchsheel Agreement, such as the Panchsheel treaty, Panchsheel policy, Panchsheel foreign policy and Panchsheel agreement, are also discussed and explained.
The Panchsheel, also known as the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, was mentioned in the preamble of the Sino-Indian Agreement 1954.
It was first formally enunciated in the Agreement on Trade and Intercourse between the Tibet region of China and India, signed in April 1954. It served as the foundation for India-China relations.
Premier Zhou Enlai and Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru issued a Joint Statement in 1954 that elaborated their vision of Panchsheel. They envisioned it as a framework, not only for relations between the two countries but also for their relations with all other countries, so that a solid foundation could be laid for peace and security in the world.

Thank you so much for the amazing session.. Even i thought Panchsheel is limited to India- China agreement till I went through the lecture... !! In that way we can also say Panchsheel finds relevance in Art 51 of DPSP of the indian Constitution.. !!! So fond of your lectures... Immense Quality and utmost concepts...!
