Speaking as a Diamond Cammy, I can safely say that you absolutely cannot just mash anything. Everything she does is very deliberate in high ranks, otherwise she gets lit up hard. I strongly disagree with their Akuma rating, the dude has 10% less health than everybody, that means 10% less room for mistakes. Nah, he is definitely up there in big brain with Cammy.

I feel like if we are looking at how well a character fares in top tier gameplay and how deliberate you have to be with your moves? Cammy is definitely big brain. How many Cammy players be consistently showing up and winning tourneys. The only Cammy consistently showing up is Punk whereas you have mutliple Eds and Akumas.

​@@VoiceFGC @unforgiven3035 once you get to high ranks everything is "deliberate" in the sense that you cant just mash....but I refuse to give Cammy big brain because of what even justin admits to in the video: she has incredibly privileged normals that let her press buttons with a lot more reach and safety than a lot of other characters in neutral. Also Cammy's core design and strength ultimately boils down to whether or not she will go low forward or dive kick and that's too simple and strong a game plan. I agree she's not eat crayons tier especially with the hurtbox on the divekick in 6 but if you think you're a big brain for throwing out those normals try walking a mile with Jamie's standing roundhouse.

Dhalsim is also bad, but obviously his ease of use is not even comparable. Also I feel like this list is more representative of how **players** actually **use** the characters, in which case it makes sense she would be in crayon tier. Like, I’m 1800 MR and even being pretty far into Master Kim players are STILL just doing random slide and elbow dropping / raw driverushing every 3 seconds. If we were talking about “how hard it is to win a tournament with each character” Kimberly would be one of the hardest, but again, just because she’s bad - not because executing her neutral / gameplan is hard.

I don't know that I'm sold on Zangief being top 5 as it was suggested in the Zangief video (though Justin did leave that up for debate, to be fair), nut during the Guile section of tjis video, I noticed that Zangief could combo into his level 2 from OD lariat, which I didn't know was a thing (I thought he could only combo into level 3), and now I definitely see the argument for the 50/50 being heavily skewed in Zangief's favor think his tier placement here is justified. Being able to between 45 and 47 percent damage for a relatively easy combo depending on whether a person jumps or jabs is definitely a scary prospect. This meathead is slowly learning.

Jamie and Guile need to go. Guile is flash kick, sonic boom, empty jump grab. Definition of brain dead. Jamie's normals are plus even though they aren't necessarily. Drive rush, heavy punch is spammed by every Jamie known to man. Also easier to get drinks as well. Big brain is Dhalsim, Chun-Li, Aki, and JP.

As a Lily main, I completely disagree with the notion that playing her does not require a brain. I'll explain why: * While it's true that we always hope for a scenario where we can 50/50 opponents with a windclad spire, getting there is the hard part. L wind stock has a ton of recovery, and M and H wind stock are -8 on block, so wind stocking is a risk for us in neutral. * Even if you already have wind charges, it's not a guarantee that you'll get that 50/50. Not only is one of her BnBs (s.LK, c.LP, windclad spire) NOT a true blockstring (meaning you can parry in-between), you can even jump out of the spire on certain distances, and since spire has long recovery, punish countering it is easy. * You can't raw windclad spire because not only does it lose to DI most of the time (the 3 hits rarely happen except for the OD version), its hurtbox is so big, it loses to almost anything! * Her normals are either really slow (c.LP is 6f, c.HP is 10f, etc.), really stubby (almost all her kicks are stubby), can't be special canceled (s.MP, s.HK), or all of the above (c.MP, c.HK) * Condor dive is extremely punishable * Her main weapon c.HP was nerfed and it's more punishable now on whiff * She has no OD wakeup reversal. All in all, windclad spire to 50/50 is NOT as easy as Justin makes it seem to be. All of Lily's moves are so risky that you need to think carefully which button to press just to get a wind charge, and even then, you have to make sure the spire even hits! You have to think all the time or risk getting blown out, so IMO she should be at least Big Brain like Manon.

A character's effectiveness is not the same as its ease of use. Lily is an easy-to-use character that makes up for it with her limited and predictable repertoire. Even though she is difficult to use, that doesn't mean that her path to victory is achieved through her versatility, complexity, or her demand to know the multiple aspects of the game. However, I agree that Lily is not a stupid gorilla like Honda or to a certain degree Maritza, because she must worry more about managing her resources at certain times. Still, she is a very concise character, who prefers to bet on the forcefulness of her damage.
