The funny thing is, I feel there's two worlds, players live in between battlehub/world tour, and regular ranked/vs game modes. Kizzie was saying he wishes in Battle Hub, you can just go to the hub, and treat it like a lobby where you sit down and play someone with the regular game, but not avatar....But that's literally how Battle Hub works. There's cabs around the area, you sit down at one and when someone comes up and sits down, it starts a match...that's it. The Avatar battles happen center stage, not on the cabs.

Yeah, i was like "but you can already do that in battlehub". I think he's more a player who doesn't feel any need to play battlehub because he doesn't play world tour, if that makes sense. He think's battlehub is for people who put in work in world tour , when in reality it's a sort of like the arcade.

@han3wmanwukong125 yeah, but in that regard, it's his fault and the community for not knowing that. That's essentially my main complaint with the FGC, vs. The casual and community of people that regularly play SF. They think that only Fighting Grounds, basically is the "main game" of SF, vs. The "Traditional" game of SF. Because of this belief, they get annoyed that Capcom is putting all of the energy and resources into creating content for World Tour and Battle Hub. They don't understand, WT/BH, and Avatar creation IS the "main game", and that fuels the effort that goes into the "traditional game", which then promotes all of the competitive tournaments and events.

I mean apart from Tekken other fighting games are already kinda doing that. Tho I guess for me anyways I miss the hype of reactions when the characters we don't know are announce, even if it's not like a character we technically like ya know what I mean!

Tekken is the only one that does that anymore. This current season pass with Capcom, had all announced characters. So did MK

The Battle Hub has these entrances on the left and right that go no where, so maybe they can add a way to go up to the entrance, put in a friend code and you get placed in a small hangout spot with 8 cabs the essentially work like custom rooms. Maybe even Li-Fen can put her AI V Fighter inside too, that way there isn’t a huge crowd in the front of the lobby.

Same as Idom on the announced characters. I saw all 4 and I knew back then that there was no one for me this year. I have medium hope for Season 3, like it could be the best balance, most fun or whatever season, but if I still can't have a character I enjoy, I'll stick to viewer.

I don't know if I agree because from a casual perspective they add a lot of win characters to both world tour and arcade mode while also having things for avatars; Battle Hub does have things to do instead of Avatar Battles like Giant Attacks when they are announced and V Rival that helps players improve themselves by fighting simulations of other players or yourself in order to develop new strategies.

The worst feeling. You know DR is coming. The opponent DR, you throw out a button, and your opponent grabs you. Then you go in to replay to make sure you're not crazy. Sees your button, in fact, did come out in reaction, but you got grabbed anyway 🤷🏽‍♂️

It's a new rule yes, if I understood correctly it's enough to have descriptions like "4 new characters", though. So it has to say what people get, but not go into any details necessarily, which is the way i.e. Tekken already does it.

Idom talking the truth about how characters function. When he was talking about Kim i almost jumped outta my chair. This is a Ninja character with so-called super mixup potential and 99% of online Kim players are literally: 1) Walk back 2) slide 3) if hit, start strike throw->throw loop 4) if miss, jump elbow. The number of people who complain about Honda spam is so weird to me because half of this game is spamming throw loops.

I hear iDom on being mega turned off by the 4 character reveal. But I think it would have been so much worse to be holding my breath before every character reveal and then it's Bison... Terry... Mai... and then finally Elena who's kind of cool. Instead I get the big disappointment up front. I think if Mai got announced after Terry I might quit then and there or at least take a loooong break.

how much do you wanna bet it's going to be another season of the same shit lol. season 1 was excusable since it was the first season but season 2 was bison lame ass two guest characters (who turned out decent) and finally a 3s character in elena. that's not even mentioning the fact that we've only gotten one new costume this entire time and not even for the whole roster. oh, or the fact that the game is stale as shit

Throw loops are some character's strength. Removing them would greatly nerf characters that are rewarded with good corner pressure. The issue is that everybody else can throw loop me and blend me but when I go for it the opponent instantly guesses right so it doesn't matter anyway. Drive Rush eating inputs is still a problem and characters with weak stuffing pokes make it worse. You can't check drive rush as well as you should be able to. Drive Rush is also why all characters feel like they have the same gameplay because they do. It's all about paying for a 50/50 instead of playing neutral. Parry basically nullifies any mix a character would have and Perfect Parry can win people games all because they got lucky hoping they get a 2 frame backthrow conversion. This whole game is screwed up imo. It all feels like whoever gets a knockdown guess or Drive Rush guess into the corner wins. Like its just whoever gets lucky. Also nerf Ken.

The game needs more characters. That is the biggest issue by far. Costumes are cool but the game is dry because characters are being released at a snail's pace. Capcom could release a bunch of new costume's and people will be use to them in a week.

Yes, we need More Costumes! That’s something I been wanting to see more, because Sf6 been kinda dry with the new content when it comes to characters getting more new skins..I actually thought with Mai release we was getting some new skins. But I didn’t really see that, but ima have to check the shop again and double check slowly. SF6 has been adding new content , yea some new skins but not for the actual characters in the roster but for your World Tour and online lobby character…Which is cool but give us some actual new custumes for the actual characters. We get more new content customes in MK 1 and Tekken8 each season updates, especially in Tekk8. Which is something I’ll like to see more in Street fighter 6. They did it on SFV so why not in SF6, we should in fact have more in Sf#6 being newer and in the current next gen console. So yea that’s my little critic, I been using the same skin for my main characters online ranked, sometimes I switch it from 1 or custome 2, or 3 and change the color pallet from time to time so my character feels fresh with the gear, you know what I mean. I bought coins before Mai was released because I was expecting to see new skins for some characters. So I end up buying Mai second custome and the other I used it for the Season pass, which comes with coin rewards, and collect some coins from the season, while I’m grinding with Mai in the ranks while I’m trying to level up.

We also need SF6 to grow the roster bigger, we need more new DLC characters added. Where is my boy Vega, etc. We got Bison which is cool; an OG of the game making it back somehow. SF6 has the smallest roster out of the big 3, compared to its competitors, MK 1 and Tekken8.

I've always said it, strong system mechanics over strong characters make for a worse overall game that burns out faster. It is the number one worst trend in modern fighters.

I just wish combos were more fun. GGST added Wild Assault, and that along with Roman Cancels was a game changer. It made for some really cool and fun combos. I wish SF6 would maybe try something like that.

Would really like an added feature that would make combos more fun and maybe a little longer. I know SF isn't known for that, but Guilty Gear Strive was made to be more like SF, but they've added Wild Assault, and it makes the matches much more fun to me. GGST just feels more open and gives you more player expression with their combos. SF6 you just do DR, heavy, DR, heavy and super or something like that, and it looks repetitive and boring.
