Well, Jacky and Sarah shares the same voice actors as Paul and Nina in the older games respectively is why they chose them honestly Brad is Italian, only reason they made him Claudio. Alisa for Eileen was because Tekken 6 and Vanilla VF5 released at the same time and those two were their original Female Characters then.

Cool video. Only things I'd say could make it better would be show us a mirror match, left side tekken, right side their base costume. Just to help people like me who don't recognize the characters as much as people who main this game. Also a tier list in between each character ranging from matches the character perfectly to this doesn't work at all would of been fun to follow along with. As for the costumes though, both my mains got F'd over :( Jacky would of fit Law or Hwoarang so much better than Paul, and Kage as Yoshi would of been so cool.

With how many Tekken fans keep crying about lasers, projectiles, swords, guns etc. (even though most of these were present in pretty much all the tekken games) I wonder why they won't give Virtua Fighter the time of day. It's way more of the martial arts-centric kind of game these tekken "fans" want, it basically lacks everything these people hate about Tekken. I'm all for Virtua Fighter getting more love, but they are still extremely distinct from each other, only sharing similarities in their choices of fighting styles like you mentioned.

I think Lars works for Kage via one factor between the two's movesets and costumes in most games theme wise. Tokusatsu,especially when Kage Maru yells,"TOH" as much as a kamen rider,while most of Lars moveset gives off vibes of a tokusatsu hero in most tekken entries with it's flashyness,and style. It's why I see it as a good choice based off the movesets,and vibes of the two.

@@ProfessorGardevoir Tho I admit they probally should've done Lars' alt outfit,since I feel many toku fans are "mixed" on his T7 default,while his alt outfits in T7,his default in T6,and even his default in T8 are great and give ya vibes that show a good idea of growth from a "hero" role to a "mentor" role with how you look at his T8 outfit compared to his T6 outfit,while his T7 outfit is this awkward middle ground,that isn't quite a leader or hero,but more so an arena fighter/warrior vibe.

Nina Williams and Sarah Bryant have similarities. Sarah's 3+K,K,K is literally Nina's df+3,3,3. Mid/High/High side kick combo. Look at it as Paul learning Law's style. I think Wang would match Akira's style, though xinyi and baji quan aren't the same, just somewhat similar. Aoi and Asuka do specialize in reversals. Aoi also has a low-kick-back-turn-punch sequence like the 3 Ring Circus. Feng also has Lei Fei's flip-off-the-head moves as well. Brad = Bruce, but don't remember if he was in Tekken 7; Steve with the weaving makes more sense too. Bryan does do kickboxing, but Paul does judo as well, so Goh is a weird one to pick for. Christie for Eileen? Is that racist? Finally, one that makes sense: Jean = Jin (similar pronunciation, I guess).

... if you weren't gonna make Pai Ling Xiaoyu, then you could have at least gave Ling to Eileen. ... as much as I love Alisa, she was just a poor choice. And further of a poor choice to have her boosters just sticking out there. ... I know these are just costumes and they are just swapping parts of the model, but it would have been nice if they only made the boosters appear during any of her jumping moves or anything where she ends up off the floor, but of course, this is now entering model modification territory and more programming. They certainly wouldn't put that much effort into an outfit. Lol. ... but I guess Lucky Chloe would have been the next best pick over Alisa, which is still fine for me since Chloe was another one of my mains.

Some better picks imo. Pai = Xiaoyu. literally same character moveset wise. Jackie = Law. Modern Law and Paul are the same characters personality wise, it's just Law is little more stingy, Paul hot headed. Shun Di = Leroy. They both old and use eastern martial arts, that's it. Seeing wrinkled Lei is weird and T7 have no other old men. Lion = Leo. Lee is Top 2 "style over efficiency" guy in Tekken after T8 Claudio. Literal opposite of Leo. Lei-Fei = Feng. Like bruh... Vanessa = Katarina/Josie. Kat is cocky and her p1/2 outfits are kinda...so either alter. outfit Kat or Josie because that devil is a sadist who pretends to be an annoying crybaby! Brad = Miguel. Like...they and that new guy from DoA 6 go for the same clothing shop and listen same music. Goh = Dragunov. Same fighting style. Both pale and scary. In battle Drag is more violent than Bryan(has Bryan's win pose...IN HIS MOVESET) only thing holding him is his professionalism and loyalty to motherland. Eileen = Julia. Fits her more than Alisa, can say that. She is basically Wang but more agile and spams grabs. Taka = Ganryu. Like bruh... v2
