I love that y'all are playing this. Especially with the quarantine specialist! That's my favourite role to play and is the origin of my friend group's inside joke of "I'm a great lady!" I kept shouting that every time I prevented a city from being infected.

I really really enjoy this game. I like the fact that it is a "tabletop" card/boardgame. Where instead of playing against one another, you have to work as a team. I love that you have to think 7+ moves ahead.

Whenever you get the epidemic card, all of the previously drawn cards are reshuffled to the TOP of the deck (at least in the physical boardgame), making it that much more likely that a city with 3 little diseases will be drawn and consequently blow up. So when you got that first epidemic card early on, it may change your priorities to getting those sick cities cured or positioning the quarantine specialist in areas to prevent extra diseases from being placed at all. Also... what an ending.

This is the one of my favourite tabletop board games and I'm so glad you're playing it. My tip would to be to go to options and select "Pause before Epidemic Intensify step". This option will allow you to check the discarded infection piles and allow you to play the "Resilient Population" event card before they get shuffled back in to the infection deck. Hope you play more Pandemic (including the On the Brink expansion) in future videos.

Also maybe think about increasing the amount of epidemic cards so you have a slightly larger draw pile. Honestly, four players with the intro level game play might be arguably as difficult as having the normal level. This is my favorite board game. I’ve played it so many times I can’t count.

Now imagine playing this in super hard mode with more epidemics and having to eradicate every disease. My friends and I have only managed it a couple of times. Running out of cards is usually what kills us.

you guys should use more cards to do charter flight or direct flight...like in the middle direct flight to Osaka instead of wasting three steps, and at the end Rik can use Chicago to charter flight to Africa to protect them The cards are useless anyways . . . that's very close btw can't wait for the next one !

As a person who plays the board game regularly the ones you want for beginners are: Dispatcher-move others Medic-magic useful healing powers Researcher-very useful trading powers Scientist-only has to collect 4 cards for a cure not 5 If you don’t like researcher they are right Quarantine Specialist-limits infections is very useful All are good but those are the best for beginners

You will more frequenly lose due to 8 outbreaks more frequently Then Running out of cards Then Running out of cubes that's based on all the games I've played Also, here's a tip: With 4 epidemics (Introductory), there is 1 epidemic about every 12 normal cards 5 epidemics, 1 epidemic about every 9 normal cards 6 epidemics, 1 epidemic about every 8 normal cards Good Luck guys!

Running out of cards is sort of a realism factor added into the game. This is basically the equivalent of running out of time as there is too much fear in the world

i didn't find the last one in time i did comment the same thing, when an epidemic occurs; the infected city card get shuffled then put on top of the deck, meaning they will come up much faster.

That game over condition is pure bull. How does that even make sense? Just shuffle things back!

The cure/cities deck can't be reshuffled. Once all the cards are gone, it's considered a game over because your team took too long to handle the contagion. It's why you have to really learn to manage your resources effectively.

The game mechanic is basically saying, “you have run out of time to save the world” which in my opinion is total bs since they had almost everything cured

This isn’t exactly the way statistics and probability works but.... Spoilers . . . . . . It doesn’t work this way but KARMA... says that if you get a lot of good luck... you’re going to get a near equal amount of bad luck... Again, good effort Stumpt. You’ll win eventually!
