Working on installing them and catching hell tring to get them seat flush like in the video. I can get them in with the gourmet sticking out a bit, but a no go on getting them past the second lip and flush installed.

+Joe Roberts Hey man, what was your solution with this? I am thinking about purchasing these, but have been a little weary so far..lack of reviews or opinions on this product, and on Pandemic in general is leading me to believe its not going to go perfectly...

+Ryan Smith, I finally did get them to sit flush. It took me get my dremel tool out and grinding the lip down some. After that I was able to get them in flush as in the video, it took some work and little patiences. I will say, you will have to cut out the brackets for the stock lights. So once you do this modification, there is no turning back. But overall, it went pretty smooth and turned out really well.

+Joe Roberts Damn that is daunting to me! I wonder if Its worth it to pay to get this done. I wish Poison Spyder sold the framing along with their light kit, or there was a way to get a cover that had adhesive instead of needing to drill. Thanks for the info

Do you recommend putting silicone or some other type of thin material on the back of the plate before screwing it to the Jeep body... since it's metal on metal and also to help keep the unwanted weather out?

Hey! That's a great question. I would say that depends where you live or what you prefer. It's a permanent modification so a thin piece of rubber gasket material or a thin layer of RTV would work as well. We have installed tons with nothing at all and there has been no issues but again, you get out of it, what you put into it. :)
