Wow I won! Thanks so much! I’ll decide which bag I’d like and email you later. Love the sweater you’re wearing! We have lots of traditions. My favorite is we go out for Christmas Eve breakfast with anyone from both sides of the family, mine and my husband’s (he has 3 brothers and I have 3 sisters) It started years ago with just my husband and me and our son who was 2 or 3 years old along with our parents and it expanded to everyone. Everyone’s had kids since then and some of those kids have had kids. So fun.

That sounds like a lot of fun. We had a light show that was put on by a neighboring village, and you had to pay a nominal fee per carload of people, but they stopped doing it when the property was sold.

Great episode! #holidays. We always drive around to look at Christmas lights and when the kids were little, we made a birthday cake every year for Baby Jesus.

#Holiday. We celebrate with too much food and even more desserts. But the best part is having family together. I am very blessed to almost always have my family nearby. I have two daughters and they take turns hostessing so that’s even better!!

Haha 😄 I had asked for the sheep that looked like yarn balls (so cute) when I won and you sent me a different one...not complaining 👸🏼 👑 Sandy bag! 🎉I'm on my final project for Joji kal 7th of 7 projects...a pair of shorties (one sock complete), saved for last on purpose! 😉 (4 shawls, 1 cowl, 1 hat, shorties)

#Holidays. I love the collar (neckband?) on your Christmas sweater. It sits so nicely around your neck and shoulders. The not typical green you choose takes the sweater from the traditional and boring to unexpected and exciting. Giving your sweater a modern twist. Excellent job.

#holidays An old tradition: When I was a kid, my parents, not anxious to get up early on Christmas morning, would put our stockings in our (mine and siblings) bedrooms after we were asleep. We were not allowed to come out of our rooms until 8:00, but we could open our stocking gifts. They’d put things in there like scotch tape and colorful bandaids, that we could use up without restriction. I’d put bandaids all over dolls and toys and myself. There would also be a new box of crayons, and to this day brand new crayons bring back this memory. The items became more grown up as we grew up, but the stockings in the bedrooms happened until I left home.

Chiaogoo are my favorite needles, but if I want wood I usually go to my knit picks needles. I did recently get a small set of lantern moon wooden needles. I'm looking forward to trying them since I know I love their swivel cords.

I’m from Texas and don’t think twice about driving an hour to get somewhere as I don’t think it is that far. 15 minutes is practically next door! 😂

I agree about the 15 minute drive, but an hour just seems like too much. I think if I lived in a more rural area, I would feel the same way you do.

#Holidays traditions are a lot capture in a YT comment! I think the coziest is coffee/tea/hot chocolate and a home baked treat while we enjoy giving and receiving as a celebration of Christ.

On your Ravelry project page, scroll down and look on the bottom right below your pattern and yarn details. You should see the date that you created the project as well as the date it was originally queued (if you use the Queue feature) and the last date you updated the project. I hope that helps!

I live on a small farm of 125+/- acres outside a small town in far upstate PA. The town doesn’t have a red light or any fast food business. Certainly no yarn or craft store.

As I age, I try to wing it and be less and less traditional. Worship is the only real consistent tradition. With a little grandson we just play it by ear and it’s less pressure to do things just because we’ve always done them, or done them in a certain way. Just relax and enjoy.
