The thing about the bio terrorist, and Shut Up & Sit Down brought this up, is that it cuts down on 'alpha-gaming.' If you know the game, but want to get new people to play it, you can be the bio terrorist and leave them to learn without your well meaning meddling.

@YoksterMan Epidemic (Virulent strain and normal) are placed in one pile while all the role and reference cards are in a second pile. These piles go on top of the remaining 2 petri dishes. On top of that goes the Bioterrorist move sheet, then the board itself, then the two instruction booklets and finally the lid of the box. It is kinda prone to movement because nothing's tied down, but that's how I managed. Not sure how Mr Vasel did it.

@Thehekser If you want to play pandemic you'll have to buy just pandemic first, then you add on On the Brink. If you meant to ask whether it's worth it to add on the expansion to your base pandemic game, I wouldn't be able to comment personally since I've not played it yet, but most people seem to agree that On the Brink is a good addition to the game.

@YoksterMan Its tricky but possible. Here's what I did. I took the cardboard out of the box. Then put all 6 petri dishes along the bottom. Petri 6 contains player pawns and research stations, Petri 5 has the purple virus cubes and all the markers (cure, outbreak, infection as well as the extra tile for the purple virus). Infection and character decks are cut in half (roughly) and each half is placed on top of a petri dish in a corner of the box.......

heh... I love how he says that he doesn't see how there is any need for more expansions after this and this is likely all there will ever be for the game. ;-)

Wait, what?! You were able to fit everything back into the original box? I haven't solved that puzzle yet.

which game should I buy, which is better? Pandemic On The Brink or just Pandemic
@darrellhawkins94096 жыл бұрын
You need Pandemic to play the Pandemic On the Brink

Yeah... I also don't see the need for more expansions. Maybe one more... or two. And a card-based spinoff. And a historical re-theme. And maybe a Chtulhu re-theme. Or how about a re-theme which uses flood instead of diseases? Or.. or.. a variant where YOU are the virus! OR a game which gets basically more and more destroyed while you play it! No, TWO games which get more and more destroyed as you play th... nah I went too far now, didn't I.

Panddemic OTB is an expansion so you have to buy Pandemic, the base game, first

I dunno hey. I'm not a fan of expansions at ALL. Why? Because they usually cost the same as a brand new board game, and I'd rather put something new on the table with my money than just hack away at a single game, expecting my friends to play the same game over and over.
