डीवी पलुस्कर का जन्म 18 मई 1921 में हुआ और उनकी मृत्यु 26 अक्टूबर 1955 में हुई उनके पसंदीदा राग थे बहार गौड़ सारंग बसंत जय जयवंती उनके भजन बहुत मशहूर हुए इनमें थे पायोजी मैंने राम रतन धन पायो रघुपति राघव राजाराम इनकी कुल आयु 34 साल थी पर इन्होंने भारती संगीत को बुलंदियों पर पंचआया आज भी लोक संगीतज्ञ डीवी पलुस्कर याद करते हैं धन्यवाद रजिंदर पाल सिंह गोरा बी आर ए म्यूजिक कॉलेज लुधियाना

पंडित दत्तात्रेय विष्णु पलुस्कर...... उनकी आवाज़ बहुत मधुर और सुरीली थी. उनके आलाप उनके गाये राग का स्पष्ट रेखांकन करते थे; इसके बाद उनकी सहज शैली की तानों से सुसज्जित बंदिशें आती थीं. उन्हें थोड़ी ही अवधि में राग का संपूर्ण आकर्षक चित्र प्रस्तुत करने में महारत हासिल थी.

I had heard around 1959, another singer Nagesh Khalikar singing this. His swars were same. But the bols I remember were -- "Koyaliya bole ambuva ke daar par Ritu Basant ki ek zalak par Are these same cheej, with slight difference?
