Sure, they sometimes talk about helping them, but it's only for appearances and because they want them out of sight, not out of empathy. Sure, there's some natural selfishness in humans, but not to the extent capitalism promotes. The majority of people truly care about their fellow man, no matter what cards they were dealt. The type of competition this form of capitalism promotes will drive someone who would normally care about people, to instead take advantage of them just to get ahead, or to get the next Iphone.
