Francisco Jimenez yes sir. The instructions are spot on. You connect the box via USB port. Then turn the box on. Then turn your PlayStation on. So that the PlayStation can recognize them as a remote. Then you use the box just like a controller. Since we bought one. We have been abusing it. And we have had no problems. And that's with a 6 and 9 year old. Everyday.

It is because it is actually used as the controller for an xbox or playstation, you can't connect a controller to it. I say that specifically in the video.

They definatley use the jamma still! We still sell the original game stations with the latest Pandora's Box 5 in it on our website. They are getting harder to find because china is competing with themselves to get the next best game list so they are making their own boards, CPU's and chip-sets so beware of what you buy, these are becoming clones of clones at this point! The ones that also work as an Xbox 360/PS3 controller would be the only ones that I would buy that do not use the Jamma board. Hi, I plan using it also as a controller for a Raspberry pie running Retropie. I be been reading here and there in video comments that on Retropie the up and left Input won't work. (It works fine with recall box) Any idea on how to solve this issue. Can you eventually contact your supplier DYspraxia king seemed to have solved the issue but I'm not getting any news from him ( because he I selling adapted images on eBay) Thanks

This is not plug and play to a Rasberry Pi. You would have to take out all the wiring and wire it with an IPac 2 or 2 single Xin Mo's and then connect to the Rasberry Pi for it to work. That means bypassing the Pandora's box completely of course.

Hi! Cant you do a clip with some ps3 gameplay, controlled by this board? Or even better some Retro on an android device? I am mostly interested in the keyboard. All the games I can download myself to my gpd xd! That system can play all Dreamcast, ps1, psp, n64, amiga, commadore etc. Would be very cool to leave the gpd in this box instead of the Pandora box, finally a retrogaming device that can play some newer games!?=) Thanks!

Just got mine it's a version from your older video but it has a port for ps3/pc haven't been able to figure it out. could I hook a ps3 controller to the console or just use the arcade sticks to a ps3 and or pc? plus other downside that you can't use save states like a mame or other emulator so once you exit out of a game it doesn't even keep your High score. hopefully that changes in the next version.

LORDE OWS if it's an older version it might not be active. the only watt to be sure is to connect it to your computer and seeded off it recognizes it. If not, it is just a filler button.

A simple question, my tv is little far from the sofa so my question what is the maximum HDMI cable length that i can use to connect pandora box to my tv, i need at least 9 meters, do i will lose quality over that long cable? do the pandora HDMI output power enough for even more longer cable?

CHERNABIL the Pandoras box comes with a 10' to 20' cable so that should not be a problem.

ll 1stPlace ll we are in the middle of adding the options but as it is right now you would just order the buttons and joysticks seperatley and let us know if you want us to put them in or if you would like to do it yourself. If we do it we keep the old hardware to offset the labor cost.

I want to be able to plug in my own favorite controller into this Pandora box and play the games on the Pandora box (using my own favorite controller). Is this possible please? thanks for the reply, in the truth i didn't intend a connection with USB cable but with wireless, that is if it is possible to connect xbox pad through wireless, by effect pairing... i don't know if it is possible because i don't know if pandora card included in arcade stick have a bluetooth component are capable of pairing with xbox pads

The Pandoras box cards do not allow for any input at all, Bluetooth or USB. The wireless ones work via Bluetooth but it would not recognize your 360 Controller, it wouldn't pair to it. The manufacturer does not want these to be compatible with anything else, it is part of the way they designed it, the boards are completely locked down and not able to be modified.

get the mame 4 player version and get the xarcade stick, or arcade cabinet and stick a pandoras box 4s plus or legit 5 in there, imo nothing beats inserting coins vs freeplay or pushing a button to insert coins, most of these sticks will break within a yr its cheap china stuff

Ricardo Leal if it is a 360/PS3 controller you just have to connect the usb from the controller to your console and not power on the the game station and it will work as a controller only. The games will not display on the console.

No, USB inputs do not work, the pandora works as the controller for ps3 and xbox 360 if you get that version.

With these Pandora's boxes aswell only one arcade stick works on Ps3 you can't play two players.

The Xbox / PS3 version will, for 2 players a s well. The unit has to be powered off and just plugged in to your console for it to work like that. There are brooks converters that supposedly work but we haven't had to tried it yet.

@@Klos1neMN The game station becomes the controller for your XBox or Playstation in a powered off situation, it will not play or display it's games on to your console! This was also only available in the 4S version with some later clones that still allowed this feature. There are so many cloned versions out there I could not say what version you have or if it would even work.

Solrac C ok, I see your frustration but you have full access to the wiring from underneath, you can just change the wiring from one button to another, as you should. You may not be technical but that is really easy, the connections are quick connects for that reason, if you Google "jamma" the definition with tell you the general pinout of it is static and not interchangeable, that is the whole point.......

Also the joystick in the pandora box which I think is a Japanese joystick is terrible for street fighter 2 . The U.S version where I originally started playing the street fighter series along and with other titles like MK and all the Neo geo series is probably the best joystick.If you do the math I already spent nearly $219, in order to get the arcade experience I have change the joystick and that means spending another $30 or $40 extra. Overall this thing is not worth $300 dollars I put this in the price tag of $100.00 dollars No way to remap buttons for your favorite game, joystick is not made for any fighting game. IF you get the Nvidia shield android box is about $145.00 and comes with a normal controller and you have the option to add an arcade U.S joystick and all you is get the mame emulators and put them on the android box and problem solved. I feel like I got ripped off with this junk. I hope someone reads this before he spents that chunk of money like I did.
