Definatly a great Voice . But Its the American Teenage Sensation that the Daddy buys the Music and someone to sing for the Son or Daughter that has never considered writing a song. that gets the Fame. a perfect example is Taylor Swift that recently declined to postpone a concert and made the ticket holders stand in the rain if they wanted to watch her lipsink someones music.

One thing that I love about Natalie as a I watch a bunch of her live videos is how absolutely comfortable she seems performing in front of people. Like, not one ounce of nervousness. It's like she knows her voice is great and her ability is there, so no need whatsoever to be anything less than at home on stage.
@alexnutcasio9362 күн бұрын
What I love about this video is there only natural sound , no backing tracks nor pitch correction. However, where tf is Jennifer Turner in the guitar from Tiger Lilly days who made this so much better. The only hippie chick who danced more than Natalie in her heyday was Stevie Nicks.

Natalie Merchant brings me out of my depression and I have been suffering since I was 12 now I am 52 and still can't get enough of her music,oh by the way the woman behind the drums on this song ROCKS......
@ras09066 жыл бұрын
The whole band is really good, including the drummer. I love her drumming at 23:40 and 24:40 on Jack Kerouac. There is also Judy Hyman on fiddle and Richie Stearns on banjo, from the Ithaca, NY band The Horse Flies. Judy's fiddle at 29:00 in the song Owensboro is really pretty.

Natalie is incredible. I have been fortunate in that I have seen her perform since the 10,000 Maniac in the LA area at the Wiltern Theater, LA Greek Theater, Universal Amphitheater, Cerritos Center for the Performance Arts, The Orpheum, The Yost Theater, The Ford Theater, Royce Hall at UCLA. This was fun remembering. Oh, two more Santa Barbara Theater for the folk song tour and a small place in Little Tokyo in Downtown for the Leave Your Sleep Tour. She was so eloquent, funny, and entertaining as she described the children's poems which were the lyrics for that album. I met her one time, and she drew and signed on the setlist I got from one of the three in a row Cerritos shows I went to. I want to see her 20 more times !
